Dayz Without Voice

Day 1-17 November 2009
It all started with just a normal flu and throat infection. That lead to me losing my voice again. It became hoarse and soon I almost cannot speak. What is happening? Why again?

Even if I no voice, I still force myself to finish work today. How I wish the voice will suddenly come back. Terrible. Cannot live without you, my dear voice.

Day 2-18 November 2009
Thinking staying home and avoid speaking for a day will help. But sad to say, condition did not improved and neither did it detoriated. But I still cannot sing and barely able to speak.

My dear voice, when are you returning to me?

Day 3-19 November 2009
Another day staying home with less contact. Although my mum brought me out for breakfast and buy lunch for me. Although I ate the medicines as instructed.

Condition still did not improve. Why? When are you coming back to me, my dear voice?

Day 4-20 November 2009
No choice have to stay home today but was not able to speak normally still. Had to accompany my mum to visit my grandmother. How?

I have to help her translate if needed. But my voice. Help help help..... No voice came out still. My mum did not notice I lost my voice.

Day 5-21 November 2009
Thinking it was okay to attend vocal singing lesson. Hence did not postphone it. Thinking the assessment will be theory or breathing, hence thought its okay if my voice still remain hoarse and soft.

Even when I face CQ, I also cannot talk to him. So its better I hide from you all. But in the end, you all spotted me.

In the end, going for the vocal lesson was a wrong decision. My performance affected due to my lost voice. Still, I blame myself. Still I will not be spared from the blame. Still I have to punished myself. But whats done cannot be undone. Just hope tomorrow will be better.

Day 6-22 November 2009
Its already 6 days. My voice still was not back to me. What should I do? When will I get back my voice? I have an interview tomorrow. How am I suppose to face the interview with this hoarse voice? Help help help.... Still no sound from my mouth...

Seeing Aunty Lucy, wanted to call her Mummy Lucy. But no voice came out. I was so sad but have to smile at her.

Today have vocal assessment. Due to no voice. I only got 51/100. So disappointed. But what can I do? Cannot changed and cannot even amend. Just have to move on. Hopefully I can get back my voice soon... :*(

Hope it will get better tomorrow. Please please please, give me back my voice....

14 November 2009
Today would be 2nd last lesson for Advance Vocal Singing Class. It would also be the last day I would see Tongtong at Music Clinic.

Since I promised to give her a present, so I will have to fulfilled it.

Went to Toa Payoh as I managed to take Off due to MC. Remembered she love Hello Kitty like I do. So I guess whatever I bought for her, she will love it.

So I choosed a Hello Kitty Mouse and a Hello Kitty Nailcliper for her. Wrapped with Hello Kitty wrapper.

When I reached there, I passed her the gift. She at first thought I tricked her when I told her I have a present for her. But later when I handed her the present, she was shocked.

When I asked her, why don't you opened it and see. When she opened the present, her shocking expression told me that, my present was great for her. So now when she use the mouse, she remembers me. When she cut her nails, she will remember me also. :D

Wish her have a great time when she back to Hong Kong with her mum and be back to meet us one month later. :D

Wonder what was happening, I was sneezing the whole day. Planned to tell Lawrence that I decided to work till end of November and quit. But when I reached office, only Florence and Peihoon working. Plus me will be three staff.

After lunch, I already no voice. So sad. When Lawrence asked me why I have not been picking up calls, I told him, I lost my voice. At the same time, I told him I wanted to resign. He did not ask me stay. Maybe he knew I do not suit here.

Luckily all went smoothly till 7pm and I am back home. Went to see a doctor and end up with 2 days MC. Terrible flu and throat infection. :*(

18 November 2009
Today was 1st day of my MC. Texted Lawrence said that I will be taking 2 days MC. He did not replied.

Was very drowsy and hungry. Pulled myself to cook porridge. End up become rice. Haiz....

But not bad la. Managed to make it into 2 bowls. Was very full and took medication. Hopefully I get better soon.

Since was not sleepy yet, so I login to Facebook and Aunty Lucy Chatroll. Was chatting with them till suddenly heard heavy rain sound. Felt so cosy and medicine works. I am feeling drowsy again. So went to sleep for a while and woke up at 5plus to play facebook again. Facebook addict....

Then watch tv programme from 7pm till 11pm and went back to facebook and chatroll. Lights off at 1am as CQ took over Jie's shift and worked till 1am. Didn't tell him I was on MC. Jus sms and hope he can give me power jab to get rid of flu. :D

19 November 2009
Day 2 of my MC. Flu did not get better. Ironically, I found out my friend also having flu and was asked to take the H1N1 jab. End up she have to stay home till Friday.

For me, I was worried, if I still could not get back my voice by tomorrow, I have to take 3 more days of unpaid leave.

Cough did not appear when I visit the doctor. Hence, I did not have any cough mixture. Neither do I have any left over from last time visit. Stubborn me thought it will get better by itself. Lets pray.

Chatted with Aunty Lucyians and I feel much better after medication. Only that my voice was still no where to be found. Haiz....

Its FRIDAY. But not a day for me to celebrate. I texted Lawrence to tell him I need to take 3 more days of unpaid leave. What his reply was a surprised for me. He told me, since I did not do anything productively, last Tuesday was my last day of service. In other words, I was being fired.

First time in my life, I was being fired because of taking 5 days of unpaid leave due to sick. So sad right? But I cannot blame him as he needs to plan his schedule. I was the one who caused him to replan all over again. Well, have to take it and look forward. So right now, I have to keep from my mum till next week then tell her.

Today I heard another bad news. My grandmother, my mum's mum, who had 2 times stroke, cannot hear, cannot talk, cannot see and cannot feel on one side of her body, is hospitalized again. The doctor said to my uncle, if this time she could not make it, they will not saved her and let her go.

To us, it will be a relieved for her as she had been bedriddened for years. The cost of her to sleep in the Econ Medical Care was huge every month. Seeing her with the tube in the nose, which is the only way to feed her, I was very saddened.

Although we did not say, but we knew, let her go is freeing her from suffering. No doubt we all cannot bear to let her go. But keeping her alive is making her suffer more. Maybe she wanted to tell us, it is time we let her go. I was actually wondering am I inhuman to think it will be better for her to die now than to prolong her suffering to years later.

After visiting her at hospital today, I was even sad and hoping someone to take her away to end her suffering.

I asked kor and some of my close friends. They said although I really love my grandmother, but seeing her suffering was painful. So it is really not a bad thing if she were to leave us now. It is just a pity that she cannot see us for the last time. She have not even witness my marriage.

What should I do?

As I was not working and I could not bring myself to tell my mum the truth. The only thing I can do was to act as if I am working.

So I left the house at 11plus before my father wakes up. Left for home to locate the venue of my interview on Monday.

One was somewhere near Upper Paya Lebar. Was not very convenient to get to there as I need to cross an overhead bridge and walk through the 2 coffee shops. Walk 5 minutes to reach the Trivec House. Was still thinking should I give it a miss as it was very inconvenient to travel from my house to work.

The second one was not bad. Near Kovan MRT Station. Need to take 112 and will stop almost at the doorstep. Maybe I will choose this one.

After patrolling around these two interview places, since there was some free time before I head to Music Clinic for lesson. So I decided to pop by Rivervale Mall to catch Chong Qing hosting for the Rivervale Mall event.

He did not noticed me as I was hiding. When I received a call from Lynn Jie, I was almost no voice. But I told her I will hide from them. In the end, she spotted me before the event ends. But I did not take photo with CQ at all. After that, I head to Music Clinic thinking, CQ might not see me just now ba.

Sad to say he did saw me and even asked me to take photo with him. But I walk away when he turned his back to talk to the crew members. I sneaked out and left quietly and head to Outram for my Music lesson. On the way, I texted Lynn Jie and Uncle Feng to say sorry that I have to leave early.

Today was the last lesson for Advance Vocal Singing Class and also our Assessment. Sad to say I still have not gotten back my voice but did not wish to delay the lesson anymore. I decided to go ahead.

It was a very wrong decision. When I reached, I was told it was Singing Assessment and we have to prepare a song which we had learnt for the past three months.

I tried but still failed to hit the high notes which I usually able to hit. End up gotten 51/100 for the whole assessment. Was very disappointed in myself. But Weiqian Jie say, assessment is just a check for us where we need to improve. What we need to do is to practice more.

Well, although I agreed with what she said. But cannot help to feel disappointed in myself. Maybe I really should choose Hen Xiang Ni instead of Wo Hen Wo Ai Ni.

Weiqian Jie say she missed my noisiness. Without my voice really something is missing. Weiqian Jie, do you know your words touched my heart? Glad to know you from Music Clinic. No worries, I will be better once I got back my voice and once again sing sing sing. :D

Today was Aunty Lucy appearing on stage. I told a lie again to my mum saying I am working from 12-6pm. Actual fact was, I am going to Rivervale Mall to standby for Aunty Lucy.

Saw Lin Ru Ping. She was so funny and she was also a great singer. The getai performance was not bluffing wor. I finally seen her singing anytime and anywhere. Before that was 2 students from Intune Music School performing. The sing few songs solo and 2 duets. One hokkien duet and one chinese duet(Ni Zui Zhen Gui). So nice that I was very touched by the songs.

Than Ru Ping Jie played the Q and A game where she picked contestants and they will draw from the glass cup to see what was the questions. Each will get a $10 Capital Land voucher.

She was so funny and really bilingual. She can speak Hokkien, Hainan(even I also dont know), Cantonese and even Lian Bang language. So funny and made us all laughing.

But got one Aunty which make me very hot but sad to say I cannot even defence myself. She blame me for moving here and there. But I was not on purpose. As the kids in front was the one who caused me move here and there. She cannot see and scolded me. So I moved behind them.

When the kids were playing around, she started to say one of the boy and said they have no manners. Anyway, it was other people's kids. Her tone to me sounds like scolding. A boy almost cried when she told him off.

Well, if you think you cannot see properly, might as well move in front and see. Kids are like that what. They tends to play around. Just close one eyes can liao what. What for made they day so miserable? Anyway, just want to stream my unhappiness for this matter as I think that Aunty was too much lo.

Then I saw Jianmei and Yuki came. So I went over to their side and we watch the students from Intune Music to perform for us again while waiting for the next event to come up.

Than was the eat chicken wings game where they will choose 6 contestants to eat as much as they can. Eat the most will win. In the end was a guy who won it with 6 chicken wings eaten in 2 minutes. That was fast.

Next was the host Bryan and Rivervale Jumbo Queen was picking contestants for the game. Bryan picked me up and since I have nothing to lose, so I went up not knowing what will I be playing later.

It was the burst the balloon game to answer the questions. To win, you must get 5 hearts. I was so lucky to win the 1st prize-$100 Capital Land Vouchers. So surprised and cannot believe I won it. :D

Then we waited for Aunty Lucy to arrive and they find 3 aunties age between 40-50 years old. To do catwalk and try to take over the Rivervale Jumbo Queen. So funny.

Than was finally appearance of AUNTY LUCY!!! :D

It attracts a lot of crowd as it was not usual for Aunty Lucy to come in her whole dressing. Even for the autograph session, it was also not Aunty Lucy but CQ appearing.

She asked lots of questions and gave out 2 Aunty Lucy Telemovie posters with autograph on it and 1 poster from U weekly cover page. After that she asked questions either related to the telemovie or Rivervale Mall. Jianmei won the foodfare vouchers from Aunty Lucy. I can see she was very happy to see Yuki, Jianmei, Uncle Feng and his wife to come down and support her. We took turns to take photo with her. Before she left, she requested to have all the kids up on stage and take a photo as a whole. Then she will move over to side stage to sign for those who bought the DVD for autograph.

She also promised that there will be an autograph session coming up soon but she do not know the location. She was very happy to learn that the DVD was sold out at Rivervale Mall. I can see she was very famous and happy for her. All her efforts did not waste. AUNTY LUCY ROCKS!!! :D

4th November 2009
Today after work, I meeting WP, Ben and YH. But was held up at work hence was late a bit. Haiz. Thanks to the customer on phone enquiries.

I din know whether she would really come down and book any tour. Was very exhausted by the time I reached KFC.

Thinking how long ago did I last ate KFC. Well, since People's Park Complex is so near my workplace, I shall go there one of the days to eat my KFC.. Wahaha.. :D

Well, we chatted a lot. From sky to ground. So long we have not meet up already. Due to my packed schedule and preparing to work in new environment. I was not able to arranged any time for them. Thanks for not angry for not able to meet up for a month plus.

I was actually happy for my best buddies that she will be wearing wedding gown and have their chinese custom wedding. Of cos, I am one of the sisters. Hopefully I can take off that day and not somewhere overseas.. Haha..

We chatted till 9plus than headed home. So fun. I promise to make some time for you guys. At least once a month meeting ok? :D

5th November 2009
Today was my second off day of this week.. Woke up at 10 plus and found that I have to go for some errands before meeting my friends, Weiwei and Peiqi.

Everything was planned but was hooked by facebook games. End up, I left home at 4pm plus and went for the blood donation. But that snoopy nurse did not managed to find my vein and end up my hand was bruised. When I reached Bugis, I was 20mins late.

We went to NYDC for dinner and chatted there till 9plus than left home. So fun but great things will have to come an end. Hopefully I can meet up with them often.. :D

6th November 2009
Its Singapore Hits Awards Day!!!!! But sad to say I have to work. So scared that I will be super late to reach the venue. So all planned to leave office at 7pm sharp.

Bosses not around. Left all the juniors and 2 seniors around. Initially was really able to leave at 7pm but last minute have balance payment to collect and enquiries to handle. End up, I was 10minutes after 7pm.

Went to the Taxi stand but could not get into the piriority queue for taxi. Thinking taking MRT to Outram or Clarke Quay. End up, I took a bus and alight at Clarke Quay.

Ran all the way to the hotel and managed to catch a cab. Phew.....

I reached Singapore Indoor Stadium at around 7.35pm. Amazing right? Thanks to the helpful cabby. He even charge me few cents less. So nice of him.

Was very hungry hence bought packets of biscuits and left for toilet break.

When I entered, already many audience at their seats. Luckily I am not late. Wow.. This year have free gift wor.. Poster, 2 packets of instant noodles from Japan and vouchers.. Free gift wor.. :D

Then came Weibin jie and JF starting the whole event. Welcoming all the distinguished guests, audience and singers. :D

This year was really special. The stage was extended. The person giving out the prizes was also special. Have Peter lao shi, Aunty Lucy, Xiao Han lao shi, Liang Wen Fu bo shi and even Jam Xiao.. :D

The most funniest was SHE's Ella hugged Aunty Lucy. I think kor tonight super high. His last style on stage was so funny. The hair so flat.. Wahaha...

But kor was super cute lo.. :D We noticed that May Day face super black. Wonder what happened. But the tickets all worth the price. We get to hear Mi Lu Bin's new song, Chi Xia Yu Zhou live wor.... Also have Lala singing Shen Qi Bai Ma.. So nice...

The finale was SHE which made whole place so HIGH!!!!!!! They sang Suo Zhu Shi Jian, Superstar, Zhong Guo Hua.. So nice.. Almost everyone stand and dance. Just like attending their concert.

For those who missed it, you really missed a lot. On hearing it live was so much great. Not the same as you watched from Channel U. You get to see their reactions and their excitements live.

Ella keep jumping up and down. So hyper. But I like it. :D

Jam was so quiet and spoken a little words. His lines were Hello, Ok, Bye, Thanks and Very Happy. So short and sweet.

Lala was so sweet in that dress of hers and with heels. Liang Wen Ying's dress was also super nice. Xiao Han lao shi's dress also cute. Peter lao shi so charming. :D

Of cos, kor's dressing were the best among the hosts. Next was Cruz's dressing. So charming. His face so cute. :D

I like PF and Jiahui Jie's style. The last dressing, theirs like sisters dressing wor. Style so similar.

Hopefully next year's I can buy the most expensive one and get to see all of them upclose. :D

Oh one more thing, I just came to know that, the light sticks that you are holding, if it was longer than your arms, cannot be bringing out and shake. As they consider that as a weapon wor. The row which I sat was being warned to keep that light stick. So funny wor. :X

So afraid I will over high and unable to report work today. Luckily I can still managed to reached workplace on time.

Today really super busy. I was in charge for phone enquiries and collect balance payment. So messy as the crowd keep coming in non stop.

We had to lunch in. Wonder will it be like this for all weekends. But good thing was, time passes super fast when you are busy. So fast time was over and soon will be closing time. Wahaha..

Today managed to learn how to collect payment for credit card and installments. Hopefully I can do all payment collection without any mistake. Phew... What a busy and messy Saturday.....

Today was Sunday but I have to work from 12-6pm. So poor thing right? This will be my life for the rest of my life working as Tour Consultant. Well, hopefully will not be bored.

Anyway, time passes very fast today. We are super busy and end up very messy also. Today no lunch hour as we ate our lunch before 12pm.

So by the time reaching 6pm, think we were all tired more than hungry.

Today consider lesser customers but more phone enquiries. Anyway, was a great experience as I seldom worked on Sunday. :D

Today was bored to death. Wonder what's happening. All booses not around and only 2 seniors around.

Customers also fewer. Can even go for longer lunch and come back wor. But I didn't. We were super free and even can chit chatting wor.

We get to close shop at 7pm sharp. What a bored Monday. :*(

Today was normal working day. Only difference was, I had to top up 60cents as I shortcharged a customer by 60cents.

Well, luckily was only 60cents not 60dollars.

Anyway, today was also lucky day. Why?

When lunch time, I decided to go down to Four Face to eat. End up I met Lili and chatted with her. Not long after I saw Shirley and Vicky and their colleagues.

Than when I went home time, at Chinatown MRT Station, I met Hui's friend. When I at Dhoby Ghaut while walking towards the escalator, I saw Stacia. We chatted till Yio Chu Kang, I alighted and at the bus stop while waiting for 265, I met Yili, my primary school classmate.

What a fruitful Tuesday. I met so many people today. :D

Today was my off day. :D

Woke up at 10am. Doing house work and again was hooked on facebook. Till 6plus I have not had a proper meals. So hungry... :*(

2 November 2009 - First Day At Work

Today was my first day reporting to my new job. Was there on time with empty stomach. As I woke up late and afraid I was late for work for the first day.

When I reached, the staff on duty do not know that where should I sit and what am I assigned to do. It didn't take long after I reached that I was assigned a place and given 2 sets of uniform.

I was stationed next to Tony but he was too busy to really guide me through as he had too many things on hand.

So whole day, I felt I was a handicapped. Only able to pick up calls and take down details but could not help in handling phone enquiries at least.

I shall not be dishearted. I can do better tomorrow. Thanks all for the well wishes and cheerings. I will not give up so easily. :D

1 November 2009-Shocks and Shiok Night.. :D

Today I treated Wei to see the last show for Shocks and Shiok at Action Theatre.

Initially, I thought it will take me hours to locate the venue as I have never seen this theatre in my 5 years of working at NTUC Income.

So I met Wei at 6pm but end up I was early where I reached at 5.30pm. She was also early. So we met up and I lead her to Kopitiam to have her dinner before we headed to Action Theatre.

When we reached, it was 7pm plus. Hence we sit at the small corner outside where we called people and disturbed. Haha..

Then at 7.55pm, we went up to catch the first story, Vampire Monologues. The vampires were handsome and pretty. As it was a couple vampire and a bartender. :D

This story was funny. The bartender was being tricked and he became a vampire and thought he could turn to a very famous comedian. But he did not realised that his jokes were never funny. He was also foolish to thought Mary was dead when she was a vampire and vampire never dies.

In the end, he found out that, cos Victor and Mary was bored, hence they created the play and trap for him to jump in. All was too late as he was already a vampire and he can never fulfilled his comedian dream.

We were asked to leave the room for 15 minutes break while they set up for the next story, The Patient. It was written by Dennis Chew from one of his Zhou Gong Jiang Gui. But he added many funny scenes that made it not so scary.

He succeeded as the story was really funny and at the same time scary. :D

It was about this Very Important Patient where he prossessed supernatural power as he could see the third world people. His daughter thought he was crazy and he killed her mother. But after he died, she realised what his father said was true. She also inherited his genes and could see them.

After the play, I left the place shortly. We parted as Wei wanted to take MRT from Dhoby Ghaut but I wanted to go City Hall.

In the end, I took bus 133 home where I reached home at 12am. :D

Since last week, I had three lunch appointments with different groups of colleagues. Today was a new group to have lunch with. Christine, Jocelyn, Vicky, Shirley and Esther. Thanks for the treat today. :D

Today also was a day I received my farewell gifts from my section. Thanks all for the present. I love them all. :D

Today my emails sent to announced my last day. Batch by batch I sent. Mostly was very shocked by my decision. Some even asked me why.

Well, thanks all for the concern. I guess it was time I venture out and time for me to find my life goal. May this new job gave me a new life. :D

Lastly, thanks all for the support and help. Goodbye NTUC Income and my lovely colleagues. I will visit you all once I have my off days. Take care. :D

Today I met my new friends, Evonne Jie, Steven, Kenneth and Wei Jie for KTV session at Partyworld in Chinatown.

Venue was chosen by me as I have the discount card for Partyworld. We sang from 2pm till 6pm. Very fun and we even videoed some songs and took some photos.

After this, Wei went for Coco's event at Singapore Flyer, Evonne Jie, Kenneth and Steven went to support Peifen Jie's event. As for me, I rushing down to support AUNTY LUCY.

It was the first community screening for Aunty Lucy telemovie. Today, kor will dressed up as Aunty Lucy, asked us questions and photo taking plus FREE GIFT for winners.

After that, we were asked to sit on the grass patch where they placed plastic floor mat for us to sit on and catch the telemovie on the big screen. Just like what our parents and even grandparents did during the good old days.

Just behind the big space for us to sit was a booth giving out free popcorns. I was with Jane. Initially was with Alice and her family. After that, Jane called me and we chatted and I then realised, we met before. :D

Kor sat at the corner on the chair with Christy Yow and her family to enjoy the telemovie but was asked to take photos with their fans and family members. Kor left shortly with all the crew members while we watched the whole telemovie till 9pm plus. :D

After the telemovie, we were given few packets of tibits and I queued for the free popcorns. :D So Aunty Lucy. :D

Today, I smsed my god daddy to tell him that I will be moving on to a new job in November. As I still have not helped him with the website creation. Hence I asked him if he is still keen in doing the website.

We chatted for a while and he was suprised to hear that I am learning singing class. He asked if I dared to sing in front of him. I said yes. Than he say why not we fixed a date and meet up.

So we agreed to meet up on Friday, 23 October 2009, after my work. Venue will be Chinatown Partyworld.

I was actually amazed that he actually asked me out which he do not usually did. We will at most sms or chat on the phone. He had never asked me out for years.

So I quickly sms my god sister. She too find it very unbelievable. So she said, we shall see if he really turns up this friday.

I have a strong feelings that he will postphoned it. Hope my instinct was wrong. :*(

These few days, he was calling me in the morning and assured me that today's meeting will be true.

He even asked what time and where to meet. It sound so true to me and I really hope my instinct was wrong. He will surely meet me and everything will be fine.

3pm plus, my instinct proved to be correct. He called and said he could not finished his work and postphoned the event to next week but did not fixed a date yet.

So after work, I went down to find my god sister as promised after he called me to cancelled the meeting.

I really hope he was not telling me lies but I am afraid he is. Jie said she already predicted he would called and cancelled the meeting. As he knew she knows. Hence it will be embarrassed if he did not called to cancelled and did not turned up.

She was very amazed by his action and doubt the meeting will ever be true. If it was coming true, it will be my dream comes true.

I always hope to go out with him. Since that time when I was wilful and did many foolish things, we have not been chatting. His changed scare me.

I knew people will changed and I do knew sometimes character may changed. But his was a huge changed. So lets wait till next week and see how ba. :*(

Today's vocal singing class was postphoned as my classmate was sick. I was very worried as the last lesson will falls in November and that is where I could not have my lesson on weekends in the afternoon.

Since no lesson, so I went KTV with my friends, Evonne Jie, Wei Jie, Steven, Kenneth, Xingyu didi and Raymond. We went for Balestier area's Home Team NS where the $10 KTV outlet was.

We sang till 7pm and left for dinner at Toa Payoh where we chatted and was in the midst of deciding for the coming gathering in 5th December.

The event VIP do not wish to be a KTV session as she wished that she can chat with the rest and get to know them instead of the usuals.

We really cracked our head and finally decided to have a BBQ session. So we went to decide where should we set as our BBQ venue. Deciding whether we should choose Sentosa or East Coast.

On considering the convenient to get to the venue and the location. We finally decided to set it at East Coast. It will be easier to manage and the cost will not be very high.

So we went down to AXS Machine to book a pit. Sad to say all pits was being taken up. We were very amazed by this but no choice had to choose another venue.

We decided to discuss somewhere again. We managed to contact the VIP and she was ok with either Tiong Bahru or Labrador Park. But she thinks Labrador Park will be more convenient than Tiong Bahru. So we set off again to AXS machine and booked a pit.

Finally, this case was settled. Now we need to crack head on where to get those food ready. :D Countdown for Dec 5. :D

Today was the screening of Aunty Lucy telemovie specially for Aunty Lucyians and those who supports Aunty Lucy. There will be autograph session also.

I met up with Yvonne mei, Jianmei, Lynn Jie, Kunxiang, Joseph, Alice and Yuki at Somerset MRT station at 5pm where we walked together to Cineleisure for dinner before heading for the screening.

It was fun and we were all very high and the response was great. Finally almost all the friends in Chatroll met up. At there, we also met Yiijiia, Yujie, Karen Jie, Taxi Feng, Evonne Jie, Kenneth and Terence.

We were so noisy and very high. Kor said for those who bought 5 DVDs, he will let them touch his legs wor.. :D

We saw Diya Jie, Carrie Jie, Peifen Jie and CQ FC members. There is one youngest fan of Aunty Lucy who is only 1 years old. So cute girl. We took photos and had fun till the end of event.

After that, we went to the kopitiam downstair for some chat with Lynn Jie, Yvonne mei, Joseph, Kunxiang, Jianmei, Yuki, Uncle Feng and myself. :D We chatted till the kopitiam closed and left to catch our last train.

Uncle Feng was so kind that he sent Kunxiang, Jianmei, Yuki and Lynn Jie home. While myself, Joseph and Yvonne mei took the MRT home. So happy to spent my Sunday with them. :D

Oh yes, the DVD was sold out in minutes. Great job and thanks all those who supports Aunty Lucy telemovie. :D

Updates on October 2009 (1)

Today I was on MC. It is rather funny as I just tendered my resignation yesterday and I am sick today.

Well, she thought it was a rushed decision. But what she do not know was, it was all well planned. I choosen 1 October to tendered was on purpose. As I wanted to end at 30 October. Just nice as that day will be a Friday. Which means, I will be spared for month end closing stuff.

Sad to say, till date, none of the company had called me for an interview. I will not be dishearted as I felt they will call me soon. I will sure got a job before I ended my present job. :D

Today was a happening day. It was outdoor event for the coming Singapore Hits Awards. Today was also a day where the 3 winners will get to sing the theme song together with Ai Jia.

Andrew was one of the contestants. We were there to support and root him. :D

He was very nervous and I could tell some of them was well prepared. Well, those people are from LWS. I was very amazed by their performance and one of them looks like Ella but she do not perform very well. Probably she was nervous.

I also learned how to sing a song in a rock way. I believe the dance steps was trained by their teachers ba. :D

Well, if next year have similar competition, I wonder will I have the guts to give it a try. Will Andrew try also? Maybe yes and maybe no. :D

After this was the performance by Lu Guang Zhong, Lala Xu Jia Ying and Tanya Chua. I was enjoying the whole events and was very happy as I can see them upclosed. Thanks to Evonne Jie for giving me this opportunity to view them so close.

Today I went back to work with a very sleepy mind. Anyway, about to leave the company. So do not need me to work so hard.

I was called to her desk early in the morning. She still could not believed I would tendered before I even secured a position in my new job.

I told her, well, it was me who rejected to secured the job as I still waiting for more interviews. I believed I will be shortlisted soon and I will not make myself out of job for long.

She do not believed me and even mentioned that what if I will be out of job for months as she foresees the economy to be still downturn. But once again, I assured her that I will be shortlisted soon. What she do not know was, I will be having an interview tomorrow for my dream company and dream position.

I do not find it a need to announce to her. In fact, I think her speech today was useless. She thought I will back off and asked her to return me the resignation letter. But I wont. If I did not thought through, I wouldn't even dare to bring that letter to her.

Well, I would say, I felt relieved when I handed her that resignation letter. It was my first and I believed my last resignation letter I would ever hand up.

Keep my finger crossed. Tomorrow's interview will be a success. :D

Today, I took a half day in the afternoon as I had an interviewed at 3pm. I was early as I reached at 2plus.

When I went in, I was asked to fill up the form as usual and waited to be called for an interview.

The manager, Jasmine, is a very friendly lady and I believe working under her will be better than working under.... Haha.. :D

She was telling me the job scope and the career path. She asked me if I am very interested in this line and asked me if I am willing to take up the challenge to be a Tour Leader.

I was very very shocked, I must admit, when she asked me if I am keen to be a Tour Leader. That was my dream and I thought it will remain as a dream.

She saw my sincerity and when she popped this sentence: "I will get HR to call you for signing the appointment letter." Oh my guan ying ma.... Does it mean I was employed? She replied, YES!

Can you believe, it was my first interview with her and previously when I went to the HQ for interview, I was being rejected. Now the subsidiary was hiring me. It was like a dream comes true. I was overjoyed and couldn't believe my ears.

Then she said each month, I will have 6 off days. She also told me the working hours and so on. I was very excited and can't wait to start work. Then she told me to start work at 2 November 2009 and off day will be on 1 November 2009 but pay will start from 1 November 2009. :D

When I left, I thanked her once again and can't wait to spread this good news to my buddy cum colleagues. They also felt very happy for me and I finally proved her wrong that I will be out of job for months. I am really blessed.
