28 March 2009-JJ Lin Jun Jie World Tour Concert

Today was important date for JJ. As he had his 28th Bday yesterday. Today was his 1st day of being 28 years old. Hence he was very happy that the whole Indoor stadium was full of people. He saw a lot of new faces.

He also introduced 6 new JJ Babies. So kawaii. All size same and was like Sumo Wretler. Haha.. Then he sang his favourite singer's songs, like Zhang Xue You-Ta Lai Ting Wo De Yan Chang Hui, etc.

The concert was also surprises await for JJ. His mum, dad and his brother came on stage after Shui Shang Piao (Teacher Xu Huan Liang) asked us to sing bday song for him. He was asked to come on stage and was told that there was a big surprise awaiting for him. His mum played Pipa, his dad played Er Hu and his bro played Piano. He was so happy that he was teared throughout the whole performance. So touching moments.

The whole concert was fun and touching. I enjoyed very much. Thanks Bro JJ for letting us have this chance to celebrate his belated bday and enjoyed ourselves throughout the whole concert. :P

Terrible 18 days(13 March-30 March)

13 March, I had terrible flu but had to carry on the practice as it was very important for ySIEU. I cannot fail to be part of them as I made a promise. Thinking the flu will go off soon. I took expired Clarinose. Hoping it will cure it.

14 March, the flu was gone. Thinking I am ok. I went for my usual Saturday OT. I also went to the I-Weekly Launched Programme and bought ticket for JJ's World Tour Concert for 28 March 2009. When I reached home, my flu came back and I was terribly ill. I ate Panadol Flu tablets, hoping that I can still went for the Captain Ball Tournament. As promised, I cannot back off last minute. Really hope that heaven will be on my side.

15 March, I went as usual to the Tournament, I met Sis Catherine and her son at Tampines MRT at 7am plus. After which we saw Sis Carolyn and her son. We set off to Tampines Sports Hall and meet the rest there. Although we did not won, but we tried our best. Participation and experience gained was the most valuable asset we ever had. When I reached home, my flu worsen again. Seems that the Panadol only able to keep it down for a day. It started to worsen and my effective cure for flu was expired. I have no time to buy a new one. Hence I took Panadol Flu tablets again.

16 March, my colleagues on leave and another took MC. I had no choice but to force myself to work. Thinking, maybe it will go off soon. It worsen and turned to cough. I wanted to see doctor but I have lesson that day. Hence could not went to see doctor.

17 March, my cough worsen. Though flu gone. What I got was lost of voice. My colleague who was on MC came back. But still, I wanted to hang on. Eventually, I had to cancelled the Singing class and shifted to next Tuesday as I really can't sing with this terrible cough and lost of voice. Working without my voice was terrible. I felt so demoralized. Little did I know, it will dragged till so long. I went to see doctor and she gave me MC for tomorrow. But I did not use as I had assignment to submit. Hence, I went to work as usual.

18 March, my cough was not getting better. I not only lost voice and I also sore throat. I went to see doctor again and get some losenges hoping to cure my sore throat. And hoping to get my voice back again. I was given MC also for tomorrow. Still I did not use.

19 March, as promise, I must get well by 20 March so as to be able to go to Ubin to cycle. It was also an exchange promise for not using my MC and report to work as usual. The medicine is making me a bit drowsy but I still able to work. Just that my voice is still horase and unable to be back to normal. I shut down all the phone communication and requested all urgent cases to be emails to me. It was terrible. I began to be very emo.

20 March, work as usual and hoping that the medicine will work well. Still my throat feels pain and the losenges seems of no use to me. I really hope I can be able go for the Ubin Cycle trip as I had been hoping and looking forward for so long. I went home, had a nap. Voice was still back.

21 March, miracle appeared. My voice was back. Though I am 15 minutes late for the gathering, my friends waited for me and meet me at the Changi Interchange to lead me to the meeting place. We set off to Ubin Cycle. Trilling event but at the same time I caught in the thunderstorm and got myself wet through. As the result, I had fever and flu and cough came back.

22 March, I went to Bukit Timah Plaza at 12plus and happened to meet Sis YH. I went to support her for her Semi Final Singing Competition. Feeling a bit drowsy as had just taken my medicine at 11am plus. Was coughing away. Hence I ordered Honey Lemon Drink and hoping it will do some help. Then we met Bro Ben and Bro Justin shortly after we finished our drink. They also ordered Honey Lemon Drink coincidencely. That day, Bro Justin was sick also. We met Sis June just before we about to go down to the area for some mental preparation. I was cough away, trying very hard not to be noticed. Again, they actually noticed but did not say anything to me. Sis June asked when I will take part again and she sure come down support. I tell her not so soon. As I was very drowsy, I decided to left the venue with Bro Justin. In the end, I went to Jurong Point, had my lunch and went home after I done my leg massage. The massager was humor. Made my evening so colourful. I took MRT home but was overslept and almost overshot towards Pasir Ris. Luckily I managed to wake up just one stop before Raffles Place. This shows how strong the cough syrup was. :(

23 March, again had terrible sore throat and cough. I went to see doctor for the third time. She did not gave me MC as she said no need. She gave a stronger Cough Syrup and some throat tablets with losenges and some cough tablets. First time ever I had cough tablets. So down as again I had no voice to sing. What should I do for tomorrow if my voice was still ok?

24 March, thank god, my voice was back. My cough could not control when I went for the singing lesson. I cough till Rollin lao shi was so worried that he had to ask if I am ok time and again. I bet it was first time he see me so sick. Again, I was "scolded" by Sis Kelly. As I naughty, sick never stay home rest. Little did I know I gonna lost voice again. :*(

25 March, I lost voice AGAIN. It's terrible. I didn't expect to lost it so fast. :( How? Why I can't get rid of cough and lost voice?

26 March, I not only could get back voice, though the cough cured (but not completely), I had terrible sore throat that I almost could not swallow food. :(

27 March, as recommended by my best friend cum colleague, I went to a new clinic and it broke my life record to have to see doctor for the 4th time in the same month. Terrible. I need to get the sore throat cured and get all cured once and for all. As I have to meet my dear Sisters as promised and for my registration for some event (I shall not revealed it now. It was SURPRISE), I had to meet them but this whole day, I could not speak as I cannot even make out a sound. :*(
The whole day, I was a mute. I had to use handphone to communicate with them. Outsiders must have thought I was born mute. When can I really cure it, I wonder.
At 11plus, I went to Peace Family Clinic and Surgery. There, the doctor examined. I told her about what happened from 13 March till now. And also told her my throat was super pain. I also showed her the balance medicines which I did not finished. She told me to keep them for future use except one of the throat tablets which was actually for infection. She told me it was infection at my voice box. What I have to do is to just talk normal, no shouting and no quarreling with people. I cannot whisper also as it will strained the voice box. She prescribed me 12 tablets of losenges and additional throat infection tablets and one bottle for me to gargle. It cost me another $XX.XX. :(

28 March, surprisingly, my voice regained. I am able to talk freely. So happy that I kept talking and talking throughout the whole OT hours. :X Haha.. You can never imagine how happy I am that I wanted to shout. But I didn't of course. Today also is JJ's concert. I am going to enjoy it. I am sure. :P That end my terrible 16 days of torture. :P So much looking forward for this day. Hopefully I can be ok for the rest of the month. No more lost voice and flu and cough. :P

29 March, today was ok with only sore throat. I thought I am recovering soon. Real soon. But what's awaiting me is another torture. Haiz...

30 March, thinking my sore throat was recovering, I am able to attend lesson tomorrow. But was very sad when the cough came back and made me so sick. What I afraid was happening. Left with no choice, I had to call and cancelled tomorrow's lesson. How am I suppose to recover?I really scared. What's happening? So demoralized. :(

What a WET Saturday(210309)

Today is the YCIS Net Pulau Ubin Cycle trip. We assemble at 10am. I was late for the assemble.

Once everyone reached, we went down the stairs where we will be taking the boat towards Pulau Ubin. Each boat is only able to carry 12 passengers and 2 crew members including the driver and the assistant for the boat. Each ride cost $2.50.

When we reached there, we were told to visit the ladies/gents as the guided tour will not have toilet break. After the toilet break, we were briefed on what is going to happened next.

We went into the secret garden and discovered lots of new things. Durian have flowers and the flower smells of Durian(of cos la. If not smell of what). Then we saw Betel Nut Tree, Sea Almound Tree, Sea Hibiscus, Mangosteen tree, Coconut tree, many more.

After the guided tour, it was LUNCH TIME. We have to fill our stomach in order to get ready for our exciting part of this programme-The Cycle Trip. We were brief on the safety rules, how we being break into three groups and who to move first.

There will be a U-shaped curve where many accidents occurs, once we reached there, we were told to stop and push the bicycle down.

The bicycle rental was $5 for adult bicycle. But the brake function was so-so. I guess that is also part of the reason why we must be extra careful.

Going till the destination, Chek Jawa Wetlands was tough and tiring. Luckily there is a vending machine where they sell drinks and the security there to change coins for us. :P

We took a few minutes rest before we walk into the Chek Jawa where we get to see the outer part of Pulau Ubin. We walked into the Wetlands and discovered the hermit crabs crawling on the sand. Not 1 not 2 but many of them of different sizes. There is also a very unique species of bird that we chance upon, Oriental Pied Hornbill. It just flew above our head and was so close to us. Then it stopped at one of the trees and seems to know we were taking pictures of it. Posing for some snap shots before it flew to another tree. We also saw spider when we walked at the guided tour. Eye opening. The spider was so big and the string it produces was golden in colour.

Then we walk along the pathways till we reached the tall tower. This tower only allows 20 people climbing to the top. If over 20 pax, the tower will be shaky. I did not went up as there was more than 20 pax up the top.

After the climbing and walking, we came to an end where we once again back to the vending machine point. Haha...

I bought 2 more cans of drinks. Was amazed that the dustbin was flooded with cans and bottles. We rested for awhile before we started to cycle back. It was when the sky turns dark and started to drizzling.

Minutes later, it was heavy downpour with thunder and lightnings. I was so afraid when down the slope. It was very slippery and my leg slipped on the pedal twice. I hurt my right leg from the slipping. It was so painful. I was so afraid I might brake and just fly out of my bicycle. Hence I do not brake hard.

On off there is vans crossing and we have to brake to give way. There were also a group of boys who wouldn't give way to us. We almost hit some of them. To make matter worst, the rain gets heavier and we all wet through.

At first some stopped us and rested on the shelter. But one of them said, since we already wet through, no point wait for the rain to stop.

Hence I continued and by the time we reached the rental bicycle shop, we were all wet through and our leg is filled with mud marks. Haha..

As time pass, the rain gets heavier. We sheltered at the bicycle rental shop. After which we went to the coffeeshop for some drinks and chatted before we proceed back to the jetty for boat ride back home.

It was cold but fun. I promise to be careful. I succeeded. Hurray. :P What a WET Saturday and what an Unforgettable Saturday for the cycle trip. The road was not all smooth as this is a kampong place. There are some part of the route where it was either bumpy or muddy. But I went through without flying off my bicycle. So exciting. It was my first time here and certainly will never be last time here.

Soon I will come back there and maybe cycle alone? Hmm.. See how ba. :P

I am sick for first time in 2009(170309)

Actually since Friday, 13 March, I already had flu. Though after taking Clarinose, I will be able to recover. Though the medicine had expired for months.

It came back again on Saturday night, I went to take Panadol Flu Medicine. Thinking it will be cured after I went to bed early.

It came back once again on Sunday night. Then Monday, 16 March, it turned into cough and soon I lost my voice. :(

It was hell to me when I lost my voice. I cannot sing, I cannot talk normally. How am I to get back my voice?

My singing class was postphone due to this. I hate this feeling. I had it once last year. But why it repeat again this year?

Why can't I just had flu and recover? Why must take my voice away? Why punish me this way?

Next Tuesday is the singing class. Can I get back the voice before that, I really hope I can. May I get back my voice soon.

Today is the tournament for U Game Captain Ball. After two days of practice. More or less we got the techniques.

We meeting the rest at Tampines Sports Hall at 8am as we will be starting at 8:30am. I met Sis Catherine and her son than came Sis Carolyn and her son. Then we proceed to the sports hall for registration for our team and proceed to find the place to settle down.

This Captain Ball Tournament is between all the Unions of Singapore. SIEU is one of them and we are representing them to play in this match.

The rules of the game is, only two guys maximum is allowed to be at the court playing. That includes as the catcher who stands at the platform provided. Then three other females player as shooter. Only female is allowed to be shooter and score. If guys threw, the goal will not be counted.

Before starting the tournament, we have a mass warm up exercises and getting ourselves ready for the first match. Our team played at Court 2 and our opponents are team from NCSU. They are very strong team. We tried our best. Experience gained.

Though in the end, we did not made it as the second team we played were equally strong. But we shall not feel depressed neither should we be demoralized. It was the team spirit and experience gained that counts.

We made a pact with each other that we shall try again next year and I foresee we can get the trophy next year. Thanks to you all for this wonderful experience. We shall form a Captain/Net Ball team and be ready for any match that will be coming soon. Haha.. :P

Today I thought I might not make it for the I-Weekly revamped as I had flu virus the night before.

It's terrible and I just had the captain ball practice that evening.

Luckily all things went through smoothly. I made it to the I-Weekly revamped, though a bit late.
It was scotching hot. But that does not made people stop from watching the stars.

I was there at 3pm as I heard Bro CQ and the rest will be joining Sis Peifen and Bro Cruz at the stage.

Then I went to Starbucks to take the shade. Guess who I met. Its Sis Ivy.. :P So happy that she actually remember me. :P

I told her how enjoyed I am when listening to the Da Bai Sha jokes. She say is it very noisy. I say no wor. I love it wor. Then asked if Bro CQ will be coming down. She say yes. :P

Than I waited outside Starbucks waiting for a chance to slip into the crowd to nearer stage to get a better view.

Here came the Campus Superstar 8 finalists. They are all so cute and talented. Snapped some pictures of them.

Some sang the live version and some due to sick, just chat for a while. After their appearance, all the rest of the DJs were called up on stage. We have Bro Cruz standing next to Sis Jiahui followed by Sis Weibin, then Sis Liyi. Followed by Sis Peifen and Bro Jiafa and then Sis Ivy and Bro CQ. Sis Mary is oversea enjoying her holiday. So envy.

Then was the Voice Idol Competition. Each DJ will picked from the box to see who is the contestant that matched with them and acted according to the script given.

It was so funny. Some acted as female when they are male. Some acted as male when they are female.

When it ends, it was another group of stars coming. It was then I went for makan and home sweet home time. :P

Summary of February 2009

This month is full of excitement. Why?

Due to my Macau trip and the visiting of the SHE autograph at Simei East Point Mall on 21 Feb. As I need to do OT, so I went there around 2plus. Wow, its a lot of fans they have. The queue was till outside. Than I waited patiencely for the arrival of SHE. Took some photos and then went to Jurong Point to see Bro CQ and Sis Peifen.

Well, they were there for the Grand Opening of Urban Homme and Mary Chia at Jurong Point. To support them, I must make myself available at there. Had a quick lunch and then went to hear what they going to say.

But I wasn't brave enough to answer the simple question for the $100 voucher. In the end, I signed up for the $250 package for 5 times facial treatment. Till now have not went once. Shall go maybe next Thursday or Friday ba. :X

Then I went to the massage for $10 for my shoulder and leg. So shiok. :P

Yesterday (20 Feb), I won a chance to see Liang Wen Ying upclose. We played game. In the end, I did not won. Anyway, nice seeing her upclose. She is so pretty. :P

That is how I spend my not so boring February. The Macau trip was great. Just that the time for shopping was not enough for us to shop at Zhu Hai.

Hopefully I am able to get to Zhu Hai soon. :P
