220809-A Fun Filled Day

Today agreed to meet up with Alice and Shujun for movie Where Got Ghost as I won a pair of tickets and decided to treat Shujun as I asked her along.

First we met for breakfast at McDonald and its their treat. So nice. After breakfast, I left to purchased and exchange for the movie tickets.

We went in at before 11am and took some photos as there wasn't any people coming in. When the movie started, the first story was Lu Bian You Gui, it was gruesome. But not scary.

Next story was about army days. Telling us do not use short cut as it will bring us misfortune. Lastly was the continuous of Money No Enough 2. The mother came back and saved the three sons from disasters. They finally found that their mother actually really blessing them.

I strongly recommend this for family to watch. It was very funny movie.

As usual, I went for my lesson at 3pm. Learnt new songs, Hen Xiang Ni. Rollin lao shi actually forgotten than we only sang Wo Hen Wo Ai Ni twice. Anyway, we skipped a week which he was not aware. :D

After lesson, I went down to Causeway point for lunch and movie. First, I got myself a movie ticket, The Last House On The Left. From the picture it looks like horror movie. Hence I decided to watch it.

Afterwhich, I decided to treat myself Sakae Sushi. I ordered small set of sashimi and ate all my usual and also some new dishes. After this, I went for short walk around and realised, Teachers' Day is just round the corner. Now the gifts for teachers have more varieties. No longer only flowers to give them.

I have no special plans. So decided to maybe send eCards over or mail over. Depends. :D

After watching the movie, I find it violent and gruesome. The ending was great but the intervals were so violent.

As it was getting late, was on my way back to Ang Mo Kio. Last minute decided to catch Orphan. Initially wanted to catch an earlier slot but when was my turn, the time seems very difficult to see from beginning. Hence I bought the last time slot.

It was 1am plus when the movie ended. Overall, I find Orphan resembles Murderer in some part. I strongly recommend this movie also. :D

This ends my fruitful Movie Mad Day. :D

210809-Chen Weilian's Zou Chang Hui @ Jurong Point 1

Today was Weilian Kor's 2nd biggest Zou Chang Hui. At here he will sing till 8pm plus. I promise to support him. So must rush down after work.

So straight after work, I took cab down as I scare I was late. Also cos I wish to suprise Alice. Initially we decided to watch movie after the event. But was put on hold.

At there I met Junli Kor for the first time. He is so handsome and kawaii. Especially kawaii with his cap on. :D Planned to take picture with him after the whole event.

The event started when Junli kor ask us to clap and welcome Weilian kor. He came out and told us that the 2nd MTV will be shown on Youtube real soon. So he asked which one we wish to be up. We said, DA HAI. Then he said he will make it come true. So happy for that.

He total sang 5 songs for us. First two songs are Fen Shou De Qing Shu and Da Hai. Followed by some interval mini acapela of Xin You Ling Xi.

Then he sang Yong Yuan De Peng You, Yuan Gui and Gu Dan Hao Ma. Not sure if I got all correct. But nevertheless, we had lots of fun. The best part is, Jason came and support like a mini fan. So kawaii. He left shortly after the event ended. Think he had dinner with Weilian and the rest before Weilian went to Mediacorp for his co-host with Kor.

One of the blue angels wrote Weilian Kor a love letter with all his songs wrote in as a letter. So great! Especially the last phrase, We Are Your Forever Friends. :D

3D2N Genting Trip with Chong Qing and Weibin

Day 1-140809

We assembled at Golden Mile Complex at 6.30am as planned but was late as we arrived just before 7am. Together with Coach B and C, we set off to Tuas Checkpoint for the custom check.

Then we reached the Malaysia Checkpoint shortly where we have to bring all our luggage down for custom check and passport check in.

By the time we arrived at First World Hotel, it was already 1pm plus. We checked in at Counter 30 before the rest of the bus arrived. After which, we went into our room. But sad to say, the room was not ready for us to use yet as they have not cleared the rooms.

After waiting for them to clear the room, we went out for walk around. As it was my first time to Genting, I was not very familiar to all the place. Then I spotted a very great place for my lunch. Only Mee and Friends.. This shopname sounds very friendly. Went in and tried their barbequed chicken rice set. Not bad choice. :D

Then walked further, I saw this Haunted House. But did not go in as I do not plan to go in now. Then saw this Movie theatre. Went up and hoping to catch UP in there but was not shown yet. Hence I bought ticket for another Cantonese movie for 11 Ringgits. :D

The show was scheduled at 7pm. So I have ample time to walk around and go back to my room for some preparation as soon is my room-mate's birthday. :D

Left the gift at her bed and waiting to see her excited expression. :D

Than I walk around and spotted the arcade. It was small and not many people played there. Bought their card and won 28 tickets. But have to go to Genting Hotel to exchange. Haiz..

Then when its time for the movie, I went to search for the room. To my suprise, the cinema only have 2 rooms. There is OSIM chairs at the first row which cost only 15 Ringgits. :D

The show was funny wor. Luckily I understand Cantonese. :D

Then I went to McDonald to eat my nuggets meal. Sad to say I cannot have my favourite curry sauce. Sad wor.. :*(

That ends my not so exciting Day 1 stay in Genting. :D

Day 2-150809
Today is a day I will get to see Kor and Weibin Jie.. Woohoo... Super excited de.. I woke up at 6plus am.. Opz.. :D

Well, packed the mini Doreamon Shake Head Doll inside my Alien Workshop bag and prepared for bath and start my new day. :D

Had breakfast at the restaurant and had fun with new friends, friends of my room-mate, Joanne. :D

We took some photos and then set off to meet up the rest at the lobby next to One Metre Teh. This will be our meeting place for Safari Disco and when we depart tomorrow.

First person who spotted me was Weibin Jie. She had her eyes opened very big when she saw me. The reason being, I tricked her that I could not come as my mum disapproved. I know I am bad but just wanted to give her suprises. :D I am happy I did. :D

Than came Kor with Uncle David. Wahaha.. I actually hide when he walk past but he saw me when he turned around and look around. He too was suprised to see me. He was super shocked and asked the same questions. Well, I passed him the Doreamon and he said THANK YOU. So cute doll. I can see he love that doll. :D

Then we set off to Theme Park, took some photos and played all the coasters. Fun especially the Flying Coaster which made you feel like SUPERMAN. Weibin Jie also took the Viking with us. It was my first time and she thought I did took before. Though she was very terrified and at times wished to leave, but we made her took with us. I felt so bad. She didn't blame us. I am glad she enjoyed. :D We spend the whole morning there till around 2pm than we left the theme park for lunch.

For the first time, I ate at the Hainanese Restaurant. The chicken rice was sedap. :D

Then went back to room for preparation for later's dinner, packed somethings into my luggage and prepare the presents for Kor and Weibin Jie.

At 5.30pm, we gathered at the One Metre Teh again and set off to Safari Disco. When at there, I passed the present to Kor first, he was shocked and asked, how come you gave me again. My replied was, to make my lie looks real. :D

I then passed to Weibin Jie. She also asked the same question and I replied the same answer. :D

At there they announce Aunty Lucy going to act in a movie. Then was the live band at the Safari Disco performing. Great performance it was. The lady singer even sang Ah Mei's Ting Hai, though all her pronouncing wrong but great effort put in. The male singer sang Cantonese song- Da Gong Zai. Funny wor.

We had great dinner and great time at there. Then was Kor's solo performance where he sang Fann Wong's Yi Ge Ren Shen Huo. Super nice. :D

Then they played a game where they picked 5 pairs of contestants to collect list of items. The winner will win attractive prizes.

Then came the Birthday Singing songs and cake cutting. Followed by lucky draw. Hehe.. I again didn't won any prize. But had great time and took some photos with Kor and Weibin Jie. :D

After the event at 8pm, I went to arcade and played. Won few sourvenirs and went back to room to rest. :D

That ends my very exciting Day 2 in Genting. Time flies, soon I will be back to Singapore and back to realistic world. :*(

Day 3-160809
Today was Weibin Jie's birthday. But already wished her yesterday, planning if I get to see her later, will greet her. :D

I woke up at 7am plus and started to pack and ready for breakfast. We went down with all our luggage, had a quick breakfast and went down at 10am to meet up with Kor and Weibin Jie. As I need to get their autographs on their album.

Only managed to get Kor's autograph with the help of Joanne as I was too shy to approach him. Thanks Joanne Jie. :D

Before they went to the Theme Park with the rest, they thank us for coming. Kor also said he love my presents. I was so happy. I can see when he talked about the present his eyes so bright and his smile so sweet. I guess I made the right choice. Shall find 37 items for him next year. :D

Oh boy! Time really flies. Soon its time for us to leave Genting le. We have to meet at 10.30am sharp and bus leave at 11am sharp. :*(

When the bus started to drive downhills, the baby started to cry. Next was the 2nd youngest gal started to cry also. Maybe they felt uneasy. It wasn't easy to stop them crying. Was a bit funny when one ends next one started to cry. :D

When we came to the Local Product Shop, we stopped the bus and almost whole bus people went down to purchase some local products home. I did not went down as I do not see the need to.

At bus, I met Eileen who super support Kor. So happy to know her. Also we along the whole Genting journey, knew Kevin and his wife. I also met De Shi Feng. We actually chatted before but have yet met. At there, I also met some of the fanclub members who support Kor. :D

Next, we stopped at Yong Peng and had our lunch before heading to Malaysia custom. Than we reached Tuas at 4pm plus and by the time we came back to Golden Mile Complex, it was already 5pm plus. Joanne and I took the cab back and by then it was already 6pm plus.

This ends my 3 days 2 nights stay at Genting for the first time. Asked if I will go back there, 80% is a NO. As there is nothing to shop. The coaster was not as exciting as Taiwan's. Even the casino was smaller than Venetian in Macau. Only the cinema was a bit better. The hotel room was not up to standards, no toothbrushes and other toiletries where they should provide. Still prefer Taiwan's hotel. At least they have all the neccessities ready. :D

NIGHT AT THE CLINIC-080809

The event started where Peter lao shi passed us a box of game for us to play while waiting for the dinner to be ready and drinks.

There were only six of us, so pathetic right? Haha..

But what's awaiting us were more exciting games lined up by the twins which Peter lao shi assigned for them to think of games for us to play.

We had dinner and ate Aunty Margaret's Olive Rice. It was excellent rice cooked and first time taste Olive rice. :D

Then we were asked to split into 3 groups. Our first game was how to stand on the stated size trash bag and not fall off or out of the trash bags. We were grouped 3 person per group. It was not easy as we are all grown ups and not possible to stand on the small piece of trash bag.

Finally left two groups to compete and our group won the battle.

Next was the blindfold find the balls on the floor. I lost the first round but was fun. :D

Finally the last game was advertisement song creation. Each group will be given an item to think of the gingles. Must be creative, fun and new.

One group was Toilet Paper, the other group was Pesticide and our group was Toothbrush.

Isnt it funny? Wahaha.. We make use of Fan Xiao Xuan's song and edited. We also added in beatbox in the intro and middle. :D

We won the battle. :D

So total, I won 2 battles as a group. The whole event ended at 11pm plus and we all left for home. Met new friends after this event. Hopefully we can stay in touch even though we do not met often in Music Clinic. :D

08 August 2009-A day to remembered

Today was my best friend cum colleague, Huihui's Solemnization @ Shearaton Hotel WaterFall Garden. I was invited by her and was very honoured to be the only one who turned up as her colleague. :D

As I reached quite early where the time was actually 11.45am, I met some of Wilson's friend and relatives of Huihui's. Met her mum and congrats her. Also met Huiling after so long since she left Finance Department to pursue her studies.

It was also first time I met Hui's father. The solemnization begins where Wilson and Huihui will wait at the door of the entrance to Waterfall Garden. The three little girls were at the entrance waiting for their arrival and created bubbles to welcome them.

Next was the solemnizer asked them to recite the vows and signed the Marriage Certificate together with witness of each side. That ends the solemnization and we were invited to the basement restaurant for lunch buffet.

The restaurant was so grand and the food was excellent. Especially there was salmon sashimi. :D

After the lunch, we chit chatted for a while and it was time for me to go for my Music Clinic class at 3pm. I was a bit late but Rollin lao shi haven't reached. So were the rest of my classmates.

After the class was NIGHT AT THE CLINIC event. I stayed in Music Clinic after the class as nowhere to go.

Congrats to Mr and Mrs Gwee Sheng for the marriage and may they bless with all great things and happy together. :D

1st August till 2nd August 2009

1st August 2009
Today was special day for me. For so long time since I last visited JB all alone. I made a promise to myself and must accomplished as I do not want to let myself down.

So after the music lesson 2-3pm, I will leave Music Clinic and go to Woodlands to go to JB.

As usual, it was crowded when boarding the bus. Years ago, I went there first time with my friends and subsequently, I went alone.

Now everything had changed and all was upgraded. Even the custom also upgraded. This shows how long I have not been to JB. Cheers.

My only motive was to see what I can get for Kor and Weibin Jie and also for Huishi Jie. But did not get much as I was low on funds. The things aren't cheap either. But was nice and cute.

I saw many familiar things like, Action City, Giordano, Bossini, etc. In the end, bought some things here and there. :D

Then I found VCD shop selling those long episode VCDs at RM15 wor. Cheap? I dot know. But bought one to trial. If not bad will go back again next month. :D

Well, I reached home at 11plus and my parents do not know at all. Thank god I reached home safely. Well, JB was not that unsafe afterall as you get to see Singaporeans there also. :D

2nd August 2009
Today was important day for Yes933. For Cruz, Jiahui Jie, Weibin Jie, Mary Jie, Liyi Jie, Peifen Jie, Jiafa, Ivy Jie, CQ Kor and Huishi Jie. Why?

Today was the event, CALL ME NO 1. I was the lucky 5 to be selected to go on stage and play. The best part was, I no need to queue and can get the bottles I wished. :D So happy. But was stupid as I did not get the clue which Liyi Jie trying to gave me. Anyway, thanks to Liyi Jie if not I wont get the chance. :D

Had lots of fun and was laughing with Huishi Jie just like old friends. Though I do not know she knew who am I a not. Well, almost all Yes933 events I am there wor. Hope she one day can recognised me. :D

Really thanks to all my jies and kor who made me so happy today. Special appearance of Aunty Lucy brightens our day also.

With Wu Jia Hui, Xiao Han lao shi, Gong Zhi Yi, Weibin Jie, Peifen Jie, Ivy Jie and Jiahui Jie, they sang Ni Hai You Ge Wo for the first time in this open area. I knew all was nervous but they did very well. We were all very high. :D

The end results was amazing. There are 1000++ audiences and 900++ bottles given out. I bet this was very first time that Sembawang Shopping Centre was filled with so many crowds ba. Seems like queuing for which superstars or take what free gift.

I suggest, next time they held at bigger shopping malls so that can hold more people and more spaces to move around. Maybe AMK Hub? Hehe....

Anyway, hope soon will have another events. CQ kor promise there will be Aunty Lucy gathering. Hope also very soon. As we really want to take photo with Aunty Lucy. No wonder she was ranked as 8th Princess. Her fanclub members now is reaching 600 wor. :D

Thanks Yes933 for giving us the bottles and thanks for playing so many nice and new songs. Thanks for the fun and more. :D I think I am addicted to Yes933. When I cant get it, I will feel something amiss. Well, hope any place we are in, we can hear Yes933. :D

Updates for July 2009

1st July 2009
Today marked into history that Class VS129 will go down to history in Music Clinic. Alvin, Yee Jian and Kelly will not be following me to next level. Hence VS 129 have to be closed case.

Its sad as we went through for so long. Especially with Yee Jian and Kelly. We are classmates since the start. From 3 pax to now 4 pax. The fourth person kept changing till Alvin came and stayed with us to the end of Intermediate Vocal Singing.

Today Yee Jian did not turned up. For whatever reason, I do not know. We had our vocal assessment. In the end, we did not take our theory lesson. As usual, I am the lowest marks among them. But I am not going to be defeated. I will try and try till I can score better for my Advance.

Not easy to have come thus far. I hope I can continue and strive even if I have to joined another class and start a new. I was informed my new class is VS 131 and we are only 3 pax. Looking forward for this Saturday's first lesson and I can get to see them for the first time. :D

Today was a day we finally met after so long time. My two lovely god sisters, WP and YH. We will be meeting at Marina Square for a chit chat session and window shopping. So long never see them le. Wonder how have they been lately.

As usual, I was the first to reach and then meeting YH as I could not find WP. We agreed to meet at Mac entrance and than call WP. She will need some time to meet us here. So we decided to wait for her at Hans.

We looked at the menu and decided what to have. When she reached we can ordered together.

Finally she reached and we had our usual get together chat. We were chatting from marriage to how to raise a child and so on. Funny right? Among us only WP was married. Haha.. Left me still single. Anyway, we had a great time and we left there to home at 9plus and reached home at 10plus after sending YH home. :D

4th July 2009
Today is my Advance Vocal Singing first lesson and was also my first time meeting my two new classmates. They are Maple and Jinrui.

Another surprise was, Mei wei will be our assistant teacher with Rolin lao shi. Rollin lao shi was late but for some reason. So... Mei Wei started the class by asking us to Kai Sheng. :D

So far so good. We are doing fine and when Rollin lao shi came, we already done all the practice and ready to practice new song.

Today we will be learning how to sing Ji De and at the same time we hear Bu Dong as both using similar music. We also learn what is Shou Ying. I also get to know I need to use B Flat to sing Ji De.

But no matter how hard I tried, I just could not get Shou Ying into my head and I could not do it well. Haiz.. Was very disappointed in myself. Mei Wei told me not to give up and said if I can practice more at home, I can get it done. I shall work doublely hard and hope I can get it next round.

8th July 2009
Today was first time of these month which I attended the RC meeting at last. Today's agenda was about the National Day observation and many others resident related matters. Was very bored as I was missing for many meetings and need more time to catch up.

The meeting ended at 9plus pm and home sweet home with lots of question marks. But what I knew was I am unable to attend the event as I will be at somewhere when the events held. Luckily they do not mark me out as I had been missing from many events. Anyway, my chairman was great and he understand when I could not make it means I am held up by something.

It was new task to be RC committee members. I shall try and learn the rope from the elders and be a better committee member. :D

Today was very important day to all Yanzi Unlimited fans. Why? Coz today was Yanzi's one and only concert after so long. It was also her 2nd station this year. :D

First I have to go for my OT till 1.40pm than will be going for my Advance Vocal Singing lesson 2. Today is Theory lesson. So we learn how to sing Ah, Ee, Ng, Wu, La and Ha using legarto and stargato. Hehe... Very fun and we learnt a lot.

At the same time we are getting more and more familiar with each other. Next event on the list will be going for Yanzi's concert.

Later will be Peter lao shi performing with Yanzi. He was very nervous. That was not the reason why I bought the ticket. I bought as I support Singapore Singers. Yanzi is a very hardworking singers and I am sure she will soar high high. She is pretty also and cute. :D

I will go to Kallang Leisure Park first and meeting Jiamin to collect the two tees and two light sticks for later concert.

I got the tees and light sticks and decided to wait for Tong tong than I enter Singapore Indoor Stadium Premier Entrance.

Wow the stage design was awesome.

Overall the whole concert was awesome. Peter lao shi's performance was excellent too. We were very high and requested twice encored. Worth my money for the tickets and I find it worth listening. From her I learnt what is Wu Tai Mei Li. I have lots to learn and really hope I can be maybe a bit like her so successful. But that is a dream la. :D

Today I will be going to watch AMP and Yang Fu Wei's concert in Lunar Fusion Bar located at Clarke Quay with two of my great friends cum sisters and one of my sister's friend. :D

Never would I imagine I can see AMP upclosed. I reached there early as I worried I cannot find the venue.

First I saw Jim Lim and followed by Xiao Han lao shi then the rest of the AMP members.

Before everything starts, we took photo with Jim lao shi, Huang Yunren lao shi and me solo with Xiao Han lao shi.

The show was awesome and I had lots of fun. Thanks to Yes933 for giving me this opportunity to watch this Live performance. It brighteneds me and really love hearing them singing.

16th July 2009
Today was my regular blood donation day. Also was my first meet with my idol Jeff Wang and autograph session.

I took half day and before I leave office, I did my part to donate my blood to the needy. :D

When I reached NYP, I was very early. So I went to eat late lunch while waiting for time to pass. When it was finally 5pm, I went in and met Andrew and his gang.

We chatter a while and there came Chengying and the rest.

Than for very long time, I finally saw Jie. Gave her small present and get her autograph for the Ni Hai You Ge Wo album. Hehe.. She was surprised when I showed her I bought it. She kept thank me and we took 2 pics together. :D

I also took with Idol Jeff and his performance was awesome. Love his singing and acting. Also his hosting. He is so friendly and humor. Whoever won his heart is lucky lady. :D

For the first time, or rather 2nd time I watched Harry Porter. This time I am alone watching. Location is Shaw Bugis.

Overall not bad movie and worth watching. But the ending ended too fast. Thanks to SRC for selling me this ticket for cheaper price. Wahaha...

Today was another important day for Peter lao shi. Its Xing Yao Concert @ Vivo City 8pm. As promised to him that I will turned up. I did as promise. :D

I will be going to Vivo City to support Peter lao shi for his performance. :D

Actually I planned to meet Leonard they all but in the end, I sms Tong tong and meeting her at the control station at 7pm.

She came with Aunty Margaret, Shao Xuan lao shi, Peter lao shi and Mei Wei. Peter lao shi was suprised to see me there and he was also glad I made it there.

When at there waiting for the concert to start, I saw Andrew and his gang. Suprising. Haha..

It was very awesome concert and Lee lian jie host very great show. :D

Today is Advance Vocal Lesson 3, we will be training hard how to sing Ji De well and how we can hit the notes with our diarphram. :D

I finally able to sing well and hope that I can get the power to sing it well for the rest of the tries.

Than after that, I continue practice more and started to try Wo Hen Wo Ai Ni. But no matter how I tried, I cannot do without Ah Mei's voice. Haiz...

Shall practice more and hope next round can sing well.

Actually night time have performance by the rest of the students but event cancelled last min. So sad. :*(

So I stayed till 7plus and left Music Clinic. Peter lao shi was suprised to see me and asked how come I am here. Wahaha.. He forgotten my lesson is every Saturday ba. Anyway, so happy to see him again. :D

This ends my not so exciting July and there came exciting August. Will try to update often. :D
