My Bday Suprises All In One... :P

Early morning, never feel anything special but will be looking forward to see if any of my colleagues will give me any suprises.

When Huiz told me that they not preparing any present for me, I was a bit sad. Anyway, 24 years old le, cant request much lo. So just work normally.

Before lunch was a little busy but things looks like it is going to finished. So when during lunch, I am a bit relaxed. Many people sent me emails and also smses to wish me Happy Bday. I also successfully dedicated 933bday songs thru smses and heard it twice today and once at around 12plus am... haha... Thanks Buko Mary Jie, Liyi Jie and also CQ Kor and Weibin Jie for playing the 933bday song for me and for all the wishes they gave me, esp CQ kor... :P

After lunch, we got busier but still manageable. At around 2plus pm, Ken came and pass me a plastic bag. They were gifts from Ken, Judy, Bee Hoon, Irene, Stephen(Mailroom).... Guess what they gave me???? Haha.... None other than HELLO KITTY STUFFS.... They are, Hello Kitty mouse pad, hello kitty diary, hello kitty cookies(i think) and one more I cant recall.. haha...

Then when I showed to my Fancl Gers, they was suprised to see the mouse pad... Why???? haha... More suprises coming up... Wondering who is Fancl Gers??? Haha... They are created by me cos they all used Fancl products and all have the Fancl calendar... haha.... Not going to tell u who they are unless they want to be identified here....

Ok back to the more suprises coming up.. Actually, Mdm Poh had somehow leaked out something.... When I showed Kelly my presents from Ken and the rest, Mdm Poh thought these are presents from me. Then I smile in my heart... They really did buy something for me.... Haha...

But what I do not know is, it is going to be a BIG suprises for me... haha... The last and my beloved colleagues including my manager Eshal gave me something which I really wanted to cry when I say that. Oh yes, the beloved colleagues are, Kelly, Serene, Huihui, Jevon and Mdm Poh. Heard Mdm Poh was last minute chipped in de wor... Haha....

Ok ok... Gotta tell what did they gave me... They gave me HELLO KITTY KEYBOARD AND HELLO KITTY MOUSE.... Oh My God... Thanks wor.... So clever to know I love Hello Kitty very much(Actually all OS colleagues knew I love Hello Kitty lo)... haha... Can u imagine how touched I am when I saw that Keyboard????? It is really SUPRISES... Thanks Kelly, Serene, Huihui, Jevon, Mdm Poh and also Eshal for this bday suprises... Thanks thanks thanks.....

Really fortunate to know you guys... Haha.... Really make my day man....

Well, after all the suprises, came was the work suprises.... There is surge in the volume and we had to activated our in house disaster team.. Haha.... We worked from 5:30pm to 8:30pm and then we cant tahan anymore so decided to end and continue tomorrow. Well, there goes my bday in office.... Thanks to those who made my day today...

When I reached home at 9pm plus, my dad ordered KFC and my mum already done red eggs(always appear on our bday) and also MANGO CAKE... haha... Thanks Dad and Mum for the treat and red eggs... We had mini singing session and then cake cutting wor.. haha... Today consider not bad wor...

Then the day ended when Weizhong kor passed me that cute little cat I named it Small Weizhong... haha,.. Which I will be hugging later... Today will have the sweetest nite....

Our Bday Suprises Celebration For Jan and Feb Babies... :P

Today, Aileen, May, Grace, Michelle, Chee Kiat, Wai Yew, Chloe, Randy and me arranged to meet and go for lunch together to celebrate birthdays of Grace, Chloe, May and myself where May and I, difference by a day and Chloe and Grace are February Babies....

We went to Maranah Hotel(If i not remembered wrongly.) It was opposit Riverview Hotel., We had tim sum where we ordered quite a lot but luckily we managed to finish almost all the things ordered, Than were photo taking session where there are cake cutting sessions....

There were so many cameras which made it looks like press meeting.. haha,...

Really thanks for their hardwork and planning for us.... I was very suprised and didnt plan that this year will have so happy bday celebration.

After this, we went to Bugis for a walk and we even took Neoprint. Haha.. So fun and really enjoyed.

We breakoff as some wished to go home, some have other activities and left me and Aileen where we went to the This Fashion opposite the Bugis MOS Burger. I bought two t-shirts, one shorts and one three quarter pants. Haha... All cost not more than $6 each. Cheap hor... :P

260108-Yes933 Bday Party.... Yeah!!!

Today is Yes933 bday Party for their 18th Birthday. I was so jubilant that I got the tix in. Though I didnt got the door gift as I reached there quite late, But thinking of that later will have lots of fun, the door gift will be minor to me.

They competed thru blue and yellow teams. Each have six listeners as their team mates. They played total five rounds. Intervals were stars singing songs.

First stars appearance was Cai Chun Jia where she sang her newest album's song, You Ni Zhen Hao. She was so pretty and she wore red due to her album's outfit.

Then were games and then Chen Shi Wei sang his newest song of the album, Bu Xu Yao Li You....

The funniest part was the show by Yellow team, They dressed like Frinstones and dances and sings new year songs. Make the whole atmosphere so high.... Really enjoyed...

Then the last stars to appear was Zhang Xin Zhe where he sings Dui Ni You Yi Dian Dong Xin duet with Buko Mary.,.. Wow.. So romantic,.. He was Blue team's secret weapon.When he came out, lots of female were screaming.... This shows that he is still that charming. No wonder he is Qing Ge Wang Zi....:P

Though in the end Yellow team won, but the main thing is for us to enjoy and also to have fun... This year, their bday party was another success... Compared with last year, this year was even better.... They should do that every year and lessen the stars appearance. Just compete as teams and like that we can still enjoyed... :P

Mini Outing(250108)Illegal Mini Outing.. Haha..

Today is mini outing for youngsters and manager. Jevon, Kelly, Serene, Huihui, Myself and Eshal.

We went to VivoCity's Marche located at the skypark just opposite the Planet Fitness.

There were long queue and we were queuing for about half and hour before we could got a sit for six. There were varieties of food for us, from grilled to fried. From beverages to ice-cream to cake.

Huihui and I shared the Sirlon Steak, Snail Pork and Chicken Wings with Mashed Potato. Than we ordered a bottle of Root Beer. Later part Eshal found a Mango Cheese cake for us...

We joked and then we filled up the feedback form for our experience in Marche. Though the service was not bad. But we still rate it very low. As their sauces were tasteless... Haha

Anyway, after this, we went home or go out separately by taking the train. Huihui and I alighted at Serangoon where his bf fetched us from the bus-stop. Thanks Huihui, Kelly, Serene and also Eshal for all the laughter and also for the thoughts of gatherings.

Day 4 In Bangkok(200108)Back To Reality Day :(

Today is the last day in Bangkok and at 6:50pm, we will be flying back to SG.

We met at 9plus for breakfast and then shop at MBK again. This round we bought some more food as we found last night’s things was not enough.

After some shopping, we went back to pack and check-out at 1plus. Then we deposit our luggage and got back out deposit. We went back to Siam Paragon for lunch. Initially we decided to eat at the Japanese Restaurant which had just opened not long ago. But to our disappointment, we waited more than half an hour, not a single dishes came. All we can see was the other tables filled with Thai people got their food first when they came last.

We were very furious and decided to leave the place as we do not have time to wait. Though the Manager kept apologised, but to us, Sorry doesn’t mean anything. In the end, we went to the food court and eat our last meals there.... Haha... No worries, we will be back in no time....

After that we went to buy some chewing gums and some more food. By the time we reached hotel, it was already 4plus. Then we put some chewing gums in the luggage some in the hand carry luggage. Then we went to flag taxi. But this round, we were chopped by the taxi fare. It took us 450bahts for the whole journey.

Time flies, today finally we had to fly back to Singapore, back to our work. When we reached airport, it was already 5pm. We were very late liao. We managed to find the check-in counter but to our surprised the plane was delayed from 6:50pm to 8:45pm. Oh my god... As I did not applied for auto roaming, I did not received the sms informing me that plane delayed. We were given each a complimentary 100bahts voucher for us to use. Hence we decided to go Starbucks for a drink.

After spending time in Starbucks, we have around an hour in airport where we decided to explore this big and empty airport. But there wasn’t shops for us to shop unlike Changi Airport. :(

Than when about to reached the boarding time, we rushed to check-in inside the departure hall. To our surprised, the departure hall was located at the far end of the airport and it was a long walk for us to walk to there. The gate was F1A. Very far... The flight is FD3507.

When we reached there, checked in, we brisked walk and found out that the bus to bring us to the plane was last call... Oh my god.... Didnt have time to even shop in the departure hall...

We were running to find the gate and at last we found. Again it was located at the far end. When we reached, there were two bus for us to board. When we reached the plane, almost all the seats were taken. We were forced to be separated. Anyway, never mind as long as have seat can liao.

The plane take off at 8:45pm sharp and landed in Singapore at 12:05am. Initially we thought there will be custom checking our luggage and pockets. But we just came out of the arrival hall without any checks. We went for supper and then took cab home, By the time I was home, it was 1am plus. Went for shower and off to my bed. I am home and rest for a day, I need to go back to work to clear all those pending. Haiz...

Day 3 In Bangkok(190108)

So fast it was Day 3, we had been in Bangkok for two nights already and tonight will be the last night stay in Asia Hotel.

As per yesterday’s experience, we decided to meet at a later time than before, we planned to meet at 8plus am....

We could not locate the A & W restaurant in here. What we saw very common was KFC, MacDonald and Pizza Hut. I also saw Dunkin Donuts and Mr Bean. There was Burger King also. Haha..

In the end, we went to Mac to eat breakfast which is located at MBK. I ordered Big Breakfast. It taste the same as Singapore’s. Just that their salt was not those fine ones where Singapore Mac offers.

After breakfast, we went to take train to Mo Chit where we planned to shop at Chatuchat. I can tell you, we regretted. But there wasn’t much for us to buy there. Their things was not really cheap compared the stores outside Phatunam Centre. Their designs were also not very nice. In the end, we shop for a while and left to go lunch at Siam Paragon.

It was now 3pm plus, we found a western cuisine restaurant and decided to ordered here. It was yet another wrong choice. The food there was not bad but the price was not as what we thought. The waitress asked a lot of things, we thought that was just normal adding. Little did we know, additional Pineapple cost 30bahts and additional sauce cost 30bahts too.

After this costly lunch, we decided to go back to hotel for some rest. Than around 7pm, we meeting Yuhui’s uncle where he brought us around the place for mini tour. We went to Chinatown to eat their famous sharkfins which cost 300bahts per claypot for one person. It was miles different compared to here where we only got a small bowl.

Then we also had birdnest cold, whether real or fake, this we do not know. What we can confirmed was, the sharkfin was real product.

After this yummy dinner, we went to buy some food back for us to share with colleagues and family members. I bought some for my mum and myself.

Then Uncle brought us to Suan Lum Bazzar. Before we alight, there were two groups of people in either red robe or blue robe asking whether we interested in Thai boxing. Gave us a shock and I gave a loud laugh. We went to one of the open space coffee shop to have a drink where we saw a group of gals age around 17 at most. The three of them was drunk and one of them kept pouring water on the pants of the other. They kept laughing and talking loudly. They even splashed a bit of beer on us as that friend again overturned the cup while pouring the beer. We hurried left and walk along the Suan Lum Bazzar. :(

The things sold in Suan Lum Bazzar was also not very cheap. We walk walk a while and then we took cab to Photong nightlife. It was an eye opening for me. I dared not looked up when I walk past stretches of pubs. But when I peek into one of the pub, the bartop dancer was not really pretty at one of the pub. Mostly were babes. They kept asking us to go in and see. But we walked past very fast.

After walking along two sides, we went to foot massage, where they massage our leg, shoulder, hand and head... Very shiok.... When we got back, we decided not to sleep so early hence we played Dai Dee till 4am, we cant tahan and decided to call it a day to rest a while and then went for the last minute shopping spree before we pack to go back later. Haiz... Time flies and soon will be back to reality...

Day 2 In Bangkok(180108)

It was 8am and we were settling to eat breakfast outside the hotel. We decided to go back to Siam Paragon as we noticed there was MacDonald there. But to our surprised, the shopping mall only opens from 10am to 10pm.

Left with no choice, we decided to walk around to find food. Then we came to 7-11 store where we bought drinks and a cheese hotdogs. When we continued walking, we saw this cafe which sells breakfast. The name of the restaurant was very unique. It was called Au Bon Pain. Could not understand what language was that.

We ordered the set breakfast and had the coffee to start the day. After this we walked to find MBK where we could not managed to go yesterday as planned. Than we walked around and found out that their building had an unique pattern, which is, every level sells same products in one level. Haha.. We didn’t buy much and proceeded to Siam Square where they bought some clothes and some things for their friends or relatives.

After Siam Square, we went back to Siam Paragon for lunch before proceed back to hotel for a rest and to put our purchases back to luggage. We went to the food court and found that, the foodcourt does not use cash to transact. They issued the card where we deposit money in and we pay using that card. Once we finished buying, if there is balance, we can refund back the amount stated.

After lunch, we went back to hotel for short rest and pack the things we bought back to luggage before proceeding to Phatunam Centre for another shopping spree...

I bought a number of things today. After the shopping spree, we took the Tuk-tuk back to MBK where we had our dinner at The Fifth Avenue. This place was a posh foodcourt where we use card to pay but we do not have to pay first instead, we eat first than pay.

Bangkok is full of cute foodcourt. :P

After dinner, we went back to hotel. Initially we wanted to go for massage but once we at hotel, we were super exhausted. Hence only Kelvin went for the massage. When he got back, he told us the process and the cost. For oil full body massage, it cost 400bahts. For normal full body massage, it cost 200bahts. But the trick is, you have to be naked before you start the massage. But the room was very dim. Duration was an hour.

When we heard have to be naked, we decided not to try it liao... But there was also foot massage cost 100bahts but we have not decided to try it or not as we worried it might be very painful.
The day ended at 10plus pm when we prepared for bed and sleep. Today was a tired and long day. we shop for hours. :P

Day 1 In Bangkok(17-01-08)

Today is a special day for four of us, Kelvin, Weiping, Yuhui and myself. We had lots of first time. Firstly, it was our first trip together, secondly, it was our first time going without tour. Lastly, it was our first trip without parents tagging along. All by ourselves. First time felt, I am really grown up.

Initially things were not that smooth as planned. I booked the air tickets online thru Air Asia website. Everything was done instantly. Then was the hotel booking which was not that smooth. Due to some miscommunications, we could not be able to book two rooms. Things change and changed. But luckily in the end, I managed to book two rooms. All set to go and was very looking forward for this.

We met each other at 7:30am to take cab together to go Changi Airport. We reached airport T1 at 8:30am where we decided to go T3 to have our breakfast at Ya Kun(Kelvin's Fav). Haha...

After breakfast, we came by a weighing machine for luggage. A check for us to check if we are bringing excess things to overseas. Haha... My luggage was the heaviest and Kelvin was the lightest if I did not remembered wrongly.

Then we proceeded to Counter 11 where we check-in for the boarding pass and we went for a short photo taking before we went into the departure hall.

Inside the departure hall, we took some photos and with my snaps shots. Haha.. I was very very excited that I almost jumping around. I sms my darling colleagues before my departure...

Well, we went to D46 where we were seated and wait for the plane to come and stop for us to board. We boarded the plane at around 10:30am. The plane was very small and squeezy... But cant ask for much as we boarded the budget airline.. haha...

The plane took off at 11am sharp. I took quite a number of snaps in the plane. The clouds looks like cotton wools.... I felt like touching them. It took us about 2 hours to reach Bangkok New Airport.

We queue for checkout at the Custom but to our dismayed, the queue was slowly cleared and took us almost an hour to proceed and collect our luggage. Their system compared to us was miles apart.

After we collect our luggage, we sped off to Level 3 for taking the cab to Asia Hotel. We insisted to go by meter before we hopped into the Pink cab(not planned de).

When we reached there, we were told to check in at Level 17 where we felt we were badly treated. The receptionist was very unfriendly and fierce. She was reluctant to tell us clearly that the extra 3000++bahts was meant for the deposit which will be returned to us upon check-out. Then we got our room card and went to the room assigned for us. I stayed in room 841 while Weiping stayed at room 847.

When we reached our room door, we knocked before we entered. Not superstitious but rather believed then regret later.

After we deposit our luggage, we left to take the skytrain for the first time. When we reached the train station, there is a ticket office(just like ours) and also a machine that sells the standard tickets. As we all do not have coins, hence we decided to buy the ezlink card type of skytrain card. The officer at the counter was also not very polite. When asked her one more question, she used her microphone and speak loud loud.

Once we bought each one card, we begin our journey to Siam Station where we came to Siam Paragon. The feel was like Orchard Paragon, a place for class and wealthy person. The atmosphere was great. When we went to the basement 1, there are a lot of varieties of food for us to choose. Than one of the menu caught our sight. It was the menu of the secret receipe. They sell Singapore Laksa... Very funny hor....

Hence we decided to sit down and ordered for our food. I ordered Macaroni Cheese with Prawns. It was nice. Yuhui tried the Tom Yam Seafood. The tom yam soup was power ar.... Very spicy.. Think Lili go there sure love the Tom Yam de...

After our late lunch, we decided to walk towards Phatunam Market where there were shops selling many varieties of things. From blouse/shirt to shoes. Instead we came to Phatunam Centre. We have to cross thru Central World where we saw more shops for those riches in Thailand. Then we came across the four faced Buddha outside the mall, we decided to pray for safe tour. Then a guy who speaks Chinese told us that there is a temple called Lucky Temple, good for us to pray for luck. The only problem was, we need to take the Tuk-tuk in order to reach there.

We do not trust him and decided not to listen to him and proceed to find the Phatunam Centre which was diagonally opposite Central World. When we reached there after jayrunning across the terrible road(as there is no traffic light or Pedestrian crossing, we saw a lot of people setting up stores outside the Phatunam Centre. But it was quite late and we were very exhausted.

After buying some stuffs, we set back to hotel for rest and decided to come back tomorrow after dinner as they set up stores at around 8pm.
That close Day 1 and we were back to hotel room to bathe and sleep to get some energy for tomorrow’s shopping spree...

Short Notes For January

Happening happening happening... No words can described what I had been thru this month...

As most of you all knows, this month is my bday month. Didn't plan to have so much things to happened but it really does...

Firstly was my Bangkok 4D3N trips with two best pals, YH and WP and also with WP's bf, Kelvin. We had an enjoyable trips though very tiring.

Than came the first gathering for youngsters in OS Dept where we had a fullest dinner, a sinful one with Eshal. Though initially seems to be quite bad as we thought Eshal might felt very left out and might regret agreeing to come with us. But the outcome was excellent where she actually enjoyed the dinner.... We joked and we laughed....

Then came Yes933 Bday celebration at St James Powerstation's Drangonfly.... It was their second year held at there. This year was more fun. :P

Lastly was just now's bday celebrations for May, myself, Grace and Chloe. We had lots of fun. It was very very happy and suprised celebration. Thanks all.

I would like thanks all those who made my day and celebrates my bday in this special ways. Thanks thanks thanks.....

Goodbye 2007 Forever... Welcome 2008!!!

Looking back. I had done many wrongs and many corrects. The most happy is, I finally fulfil my dreams by further study in Diploma in Accounting and Finance.
It is not easy to work and study at the same time. At times, I almost given up. Thanks to those who encourage me along the way. I really appreciate that.

Secondly, I was happy that Brother CQ, Sis Weibin and many others who won SRA awards. I really happy that they won the awards.

Thirdly, I was happy that I attended CQ's solo play-First Intimate Contact. I really did not regret spending the money as it is worth the price. Thanks bro CQ for all the jokes and tears.

Fourthly, I was not happy with my performance. All the promise said to my manager, I had done none. When she needed my help, I wasn't there where I should. I wasn't forcus at work where I should. She had told me frankly of all her disappointment in my performance ever since I became permanent.

So this year, 2008, I am going to buck up. I am going to pull up my socks. I am going to perform as what she hope I does. I will not let her down anymore. I just done it in December 2007 by staying to help her hitting the target set. This year, I am going to do it better. Helping her in any ways I can.

Also, as most of you all know, I will be going for Thailand, Bangkok in 16 days more. It is a planned trip from three best friends since Secondary School Dayz. We had planned it for some time. Though interval had encountered some hiccups. But all was cleared. Hotel rooms was reserved, air tickets was bought. Everyone of us are super excited and is looking forward for 17 January 2008 to arrive. Bangkok, wait for me.... I am coming soon... :P

In March 2008, I planned to follow Bro CQ to Taiwan. It is my first try to go tour with my idol. I hope I can made it. Taiwan, I am coming.... Wait for me.... :P

Lastly, I hope all who read this blog can give me any comments or encouragements. Hope all will be happy, healthy and also wealthy. HUAT AR...... Hope all strike lottery often and have lots of luck. I also hope I can find my Mr Right soon.... Wish me good luck ba... :P
