The Lee Brother's Concert (18 April 2009)

Today is the Lee Brother's concert. Initially, I did not want to go. But there is one special guest which I cannot missed. Hence I went to get the ticket last minute on Friday, 17 April 2009.

Luckily, I managed to get it.

Today, though I am not feeling well, as I do not want to waste the ticket and do not wish to skipped the chance for the special show, I went.

To my suprised, it was really an amazing concert. Below is the details of all the guests and songs singed.

The concert starting when two brothers sang many songs they wrote throughout this 25 years of their career.

The first guest which appeared was, Xiao Jing Teng. He sang Shou Chang and duet with Wei Song for Wo Zai Ku and the last song he sang was Yu Tian. Very well sang. :P

Next was Wei Song playing the piano-Feng Zheng and Wo Yao De Xing Fu. He look stunning and very handsome. I would say, any guys who played piano is very style to me. :P

Then was the appearance of Deng Miao Hua. She started with Kuai Le Mi Ma and another song which I do not know the title but was very nice song. Followed by Wu Xie Ge Tai and Wen Rou De Ye which ends her appearance on stage. :P

Next was Wei Song singing Yes or No. Followed by welcoming Chen Xiao Dong to appear on stage.

Chen Xiao Dong started with Wo Deng Dao Hua Er Dou Xie Liao mixing Cantonese in main song and Chinese in chorus. Then he sang another Cantonese song which I do not know the title. After that was duet with Si Song for Yi Qian Ge Shang Xing De Li You. Then he duet with Wei Song for Bi Wo Xing Fu which ended his stage appearance. :P

Then came the pictures of the two brothers with Bro CQ as the voice for the introducing. From baby photo to presents.

Here comes the special arranged programme. Ai yo yo's appearance on stage (acted by Bro CQ). She came out and invited the two brothers where she wanted them to PK and winner will marry her.

The brothers PK rock songs to english songs to chinese songs. From Alba and Bee Gees to Liu Wen Zhen to Fei Yu Qing. So happening. In the end, Weisong won as he is still single but Si Song already married with kids. So funny. Haha..

Then was the brothers sing Ni Guang which gave another type of feelings to this song.

After which was Prince Charming, Xiao Zhu Luo Zhi Xiang. He appeared in White Suit and pants. So handsome. He started singing Gao Xiao, followed by Zuo De Dao where he duet with Wei Song.

Here comes, Jolin and she sang Ling Meng Cao De Xiang Wei where she duet with Si Song, Jia Mian De Gao Bai as her last song before she thanked everyone and left the stage.

Following is Si Song solo Band performance for Ting Shuo Ai Qing Hui Lai Guo in rocker tune. Then double base and folk for Dan Xiao Gui and then is Piano for Tian Hei Hei where Sun Yan Zi appeared to the stage and sing duet with him.

Lastly was Yan Zi sang, Si Xing Yan with Si Song playing piano and last song she sang was Meng Bu Luo where she duet with Wei Song.

The ending for this concert, the Lee Brothers sang Zhe Yang De Yi Ge Peng You and Wo Men De Le Yuan. They called out all the guests who appeared just now and thank them for coming. The concert ended at 11pm plus. The backing singers for this concert was Da Feng Chui.

What an exciting concert it was. Thanks to all those who made it a success. Especially, Ai Yo Yo.. Haha.. :P

18 April 2009-2nd Ubin Cycle Trip with YCIS

Once again, I joined the cycle trip to Ubin organised by YCIS.

Initially there was a small hiccups for me to join them. As I was late for the registration, I seek help from one of them to help me inform the organizer is there any possibility in slotting me in.

But that person told me, as the registration was closed and there isn't any way I can be slot in. So I told that person, it's ok, I will cycle on my own but somewhere in the route, you will get to see me.

My chairman upon knowing, helped me to ask the main organiser if he can slot me in. Thanks to his great help, I am finally confirmed.

2 days before the trip, that person sms me and ask if I am still keen. I do not wish to tell that person, I am already one of the participants. Hence I told her it's ok. In the end, she found out from the organiser that I am already in. What makes me feel weird is, few days ago, that person firmly told me there is no way I can be slot in, why 2 days before the event, I am able to be slot in? Isn't this funny?

Anyway, the day finally arrived and I reached Changi Jetty quite early. Hence I went to buy my packed lunch and proceed to the meeting point. Signed the attendance and we set off at 10am plus.

Had a self guided tour around the plantations. After which we had an hour of lunch and rest before we proceed for our main activities-cycling. :P

First we cycle to a temple where we stopped for some of them to went up and prayed. After that we cycle to place where we parked our bicycles and climb up the mini entrance. It was quite dangerous if you going up alone. I managed to climb up with the help of few guys.

When reached the hill top, I was almost half dead. We took group photo and went downhill to proceed to next destination.

We cycled to one stop where we can get our bottles refilled and have a drink and rest before we continue for next destination.

Sad to say, I have to stop the trip as I had stomach cramped. Thanks to all those who helped me. I may not know your name but I am very grateful for the help rendered.

It was a great workout trip that I will never forget. Ubin, wait for me. I will be back real soon.

Shall plan to cycle alone there. What a great relaxing trip if were to be away from the city and work out at there. :P

April Updates Till 15 April 2009

1 April 2009
Today, I took two days MC till 3 April than report to work. Due to bad cough, I lost voice for third time. :X

Since 13 March, I never had a peaceful day. Been sick till now and hoping that I will fully recover. Sad to say, I had to cancel yesterday's Music Lesson for 2nd time. Felt so bad for the whole team.

Anyway, today is not a rest day for me though I am on MC. Why? Due to my first re-exam paper on 2 April. Very bad to myself right?

No choice, have to force myself to study for Performance Management. If not, I am sure for a remodule which will cost me losing $500 for that. :*(

Sad to say, in the end, no matter how I pumped in. NOTHING GETS IN. So demoralized. Luckily, I have Bro CQ to encourage me. He really was my cheer up medicines. :P

Today is my first re-exam paper. Due to sick for whole month, I didn't have strength to study. Yesterday also no strength. Thanks to the stupid cough medicine. But it really works. :P

As you can predict the results. Yes, I went for the exam hall with EMPTY MIND. Thanks to the powerful cough syrup. :*(

Today was not easy for me to walk to office. With sleepy mind and coughing away. But much better than previous days.

As it is friday, hence I left office on the dot as I could not carry on working. But sad to say, no rest for me as I need to prepare notes for 2nd re-exam which is my Audit paper. Tough for me. Study till 2am but still nothing gets in my brain. How sia??? :*(

Today actually will be best time for study. Pulling my tired body, I went to school library as I need some notes for my Audit.

I study till 1pm plus as the library closed at 2pm. Having need more notes, I went to National Library. Photocopy till 3plus and end up, walking around Iluma(new shopping centre at Bugis). Planning to catch a movie but the queue was so long.

In the end, I came to Bukit Panjang Plaza Mac. It was a new hangout I found from my colleagues. Somewhere in Singapore there is this so wulu place. But I love wulu place as it means not many people and a great place for me to stay and study for exams.

Was trying my every best to write in notes. Hoping it will get in some. Studied till 9pm plus. Thinking, ok, shall continue tomorrow. Hence I set off home with tired body and mind. Thanks to Yes933 for nice songs played that company me throughout.

5 April 2009
Today went to cemetry for Qing Ming Festival to pay respect to my late grandfather(my mother's father). It was super long queue for bus 405 as usual during this season. We waited for long before the bus slowly crawled in.

When we reached, it was already a lot of people. When we left, we saw on poor dog lying motionlessly on the road. At first I thought he was resting. But sad to say, he was dead. Heard my mum say, maybe car knock him down. If that is the case, he was very poor thing. Came here to be security guard, end up losing his life. Hope he will be resting in peace to a place where no pain and no sadness.

After that, I went to Bukit Panjang Plaza again. This time, I will study more and hoping can get in.

Today left Bukit Panjang at 9pm plus. All the best for my exam tomorrow. :)

Today is my Audit paper. But sad to say, my mind is blank. Hoping I can remember a bit but the paper was really tough. How wor. :*(

Another re-module pending. :*(

So sad.. :(

Actually planned to study for Business Information Strategy. End up I stuff myself with Ajisan and went home after that. So demoralized. Thanks to Bro CQ, I managed to pluck myself up. But not starting revision now as I was too tired. :X

Today have to start study by hook or by crook. But as I knew nothing will be remembered as the notes seems so alien to me. :*(

No choice have to force myself to write and write. :X

End up sleeping at 2am plus with encouragement from Bro CQ and nice songs. Guess what, again, nothing got in. How? Later exam sure die. :X

As predicted, I finished the paper at 3pm and left the exam hall. Haiz.

Haiz.. Prepare myself for re-exam. Think my shanghai trip when I went back to hotel will be STUDY STUDY STUDY. :X

Today's plan is after OT will go somewhere to study for last paper which is on 14 April. End up I only study for a while and went home. Haiz... Managed only to finished 1 chapter and some of chapter 2 as I am having headaches. :*(

Today I study at my own territory, Ang Mo Kio Mac which is few kilometres away from my house. I love here also as it was not crowded and nice embience.

Thinking I can finished at 4th chapter. End up I only managed to finished half of 3rd chapter. Thinking later go home will try again. End up with tired body and split headache. I went to bed early.

Today work half day as got meeting. But thanks to someone, we wasted today's half day and will have another meeting on Friday.

Another day wasted as I was dead tired after that. Hence pinned hope for tomorrow before exam.

14 April 2009
Today die die also must finished up chapter 4. Hence, I woke up at 8am. End up only managed to study a bit and went to school.

On the way was poundering whether to shift the singing lesson to next week. End up I did not even if I know someone needed to have make up lesson. But the party agree to carry on. Hence I did not tell anyone.

When I reached school at 1pm plus, only Monica came up shortly. Minutes later, the rest came up one by one.

Haiz. I do not know if I can pass it.

Sad to say, I really failed. :*(

But finally all exams over. Sad to say, I cannot celebrate for this as I know I had failed all exams. Fret not, I will not be defeated. :P
