Terrified Tsunami

Well, it had been a week since Tsunami strucks in Asia. The worst hits is at Indonesia where over 80,000 lives were taken away. Singapore, though save from this disaster, had lost 9 lives.

I saw the news and was shocked and sad when I heard of a widow's anger and sadness. She had lost her husband and three kids, while eating her food. Her kids were asleep and her husband was at the sea(working as fisherman) when the Tsunami strike. She was very sad and angry with the Mother Of Nature for taking her family away. She could not understand why the Mother of Nature, where her family depends on livelihood took away her family fiercely. I cried when I heard this.

It was really tragic and many became orphans by seconds. Many kids lost their families and left alone. I suddenly felt that living in Singapore is fortunate. We do not have earthquake, volcano and other natural disaters.... I do hope that those who was missing will soon be found and hope that they are all alive. Though schools are open and a new year had began. But it will be a bad start as the disaster strikes on Christmas Day. I wish that it will not made us felt that this year will be bad. I pray for a light path for those who lost their families in Tsunami, wish that they will pick themselves up soon.
