1 November 2009-Shocks and Shiok Night.. :D

Today I treated Wei to see the last show for Shocks and Shiok at Action Theatre.

Initially, I thought it will take me hours to locate the venue as I have never seen this theatre in my 5 years of working at NTUC Income.

So I met Wei at 6pm but end up I was early where I reached at 5.30pm. She was also early. So we met up and I lead her to Kopitiam to have her dinner before we headed to Action Theatre.

When we reached, it was 7pm plus. Hence we sit at the small corner outside where we called people and disturbed. Haha..

Then at 7.55pm, we went up to catch the first story, Vampire Monologues. The vampires were handsome and pretty. As it was a couple vampire and a bartender. :D

This story was funny. The bartender was being tricked and he became a vampire and thought he could turn to a very famous comedian. But he did not realised that his jokes were never funny. He was also foolish to thought Mary was dead when she was a vampire and vampire never dies.

In the end, he found out that, cos Victor and Mary was bored, hence they created the play and trap for him to jump in. All was too late as he was already a vampire and he can never fulfilled his comedian dream.

We were asked to leave the room for 15 minutes break while they set up for the next story, The Patient. It was written by Dennis Chew from one of his Zhou Gong Jiang Gui. But he added many funny scenes that made it not so scary.

He succeeded as the story was really funny and at the same time scary. :D

It was about this Very Important Patient where he prossessed supernatural power as he could see the third world people. His daughter thought he was crazy and he killed her mother. But after he died, she realised what his father said was true. She also inherited his genes and could see them.

After the play, I left the place shortly. We parted as Wei wanted to take MRT from Dhoby Ghaut but I wanted to go City Hall.

In the end, I took bus 133 home where I reached home at 12am. :D
