我快乐吗?

我快乐吗？我不知道。为什么会用华语写部落格？或许是要与众不同吧。。。

开学已经三个星期了。。。有点不太适应。。。一切好不真实。。。现在是最后一个学期了。。。压力好大。。。虽然不能算成绩出类拔萃。。但至少科科都及格，没有让你们失望。。。很快就要筛选实习的地点了。。。好害怕会到最后没有地方
让我去。。。

有想过将来，但将来好遥远。。。未来对我来说是可怕的。。。和学妹学弟竞争，有点力不从心。。。毕竟已经不年轻了。。。我能胜任吗？好怀疑自己的能力。。。老师们对我是十足的信心，但我很胆怯。。。我行吗？真的可以吗？

常常自我怀疑，超级没信心的。。。喜欢唱歌却对觉得自己唱的好难听。。。喜欢演戏，但不是每次都有机会当临时演员的。。。或许有天，我会为了理想放弃一切。。。但现在我只求能顺利毕业。。。对大家的诺言得实现。。。以前就是太会信口开河，常常半途而废。。。所以才会与人打赌，我一定会那个文凭回来的。。。无论如何，决不能抛白布，不能投降。。。但这真的是我想要的人生吗？我真的可以放胆去闯吗？

眼前的路是崎岖是平坦，我不知道。。。胆怯不安害怕恐慌。。。

First Post in 2013

Yesterday, received the choices for Overseas Internship. I am somewhat in a dilemma. Spoken to my mum on whether I should go for it, she was quite concern as to why I chose this plan when I can do my internship in Singapore.

The truth is, I wish to see if I can survive overseas without my parents’ care. Am I able to be independent? At my age, many have already been at least a managerial post and is earning a lot. Here I am struggling to complete my diploma and competing with teenagers to fight for a place in internship.

My another decision for internship is to work in travel agency locally. But having bad experience I had during the one month work in one of the travel agency. I am currently not that sure if I can make it through the internship. Am I really the cut to be a good tour leader? Or am I just putting high hat onto myself unknowing my own limits?

These have been stressing me a lot. I really do not know my decisions will lead me to where and where I will land in the end.

I am very fortunate to have a great mentor who is always behind me helping me. Still remember the very first time when I approached Mr Ross for advices on whether there are openings for DHHM students to work in travel agency. That was way before some of my classmates preparing for their choices of internship for 1st semester of Year 3. He is gladly to help me in any ways to get hold of all he informations that he can get from the person in charge. I must be very annoying as I kept pestering him for an answers.

Finally just few weeks ago, he told me that the person in charge have given a green light and is glad to offer help to get me a place in the travel agency. I just need to ace the interview and the rest will be taken care by my Mentor, Mr Ross.

After hearing the briefing of the overseas internship, I am now stucked with which choice should I make or should I try applying for overseas internship? Where will my future be? After all, I have to be independent one day and work and live alone. I believe my parents will also know one day I will fly out of their care and live alone. But by having internship overseas will really test for my independent? I really do not know. How should I gauge my choices? What will be the motivation of my final decision? Where my future is? Wonder when I can answer them all.

Just wish to pen down as I do not know who to tell and where to tell.

Today is the first training for F1 race @ Fairmount. We are supposed to meet up outside Timberland as it is the nearest place near the stairs to Fairmount.

To me Fairmount is nothing new as I have worked with them before. But this time round was different. I no longer going down to the pit but I am serving the guests in Fairmount. I am the runner for ice, food, etc. Something like room service. New to me and I am kinda loving it. :D

Can't wait for the actual day to come!!!

Today is special day for someone!!! It's birthday of Princess Serene!!! Happy birthday Princess Serene!!! So sorry wasn't able to wish you personally on this day but I know you won't mind. :D

Today also first day of F1 race!!! I working from 3pm till 11pm~~~ First day of work and I am worn off. The reason being, I have to move more than 10 crates of goblers from level 6 to level 10, 11, 12 of the hotel and alone set up the rooms to prepare for the Standard Chartered events after the F1 race. It wasn't easy to move the crates to another level. Gosh!!! They really treat me like a guy!!! :****(

Luckily I am off tomorrow as I have dinner date with CQ!!! Yay~~~

Today going to surprise Liangting for her belated birthday!!! Meeting her at Marina Square and present her the present of her love!!!

Indeed she was so happy to receive the present that she keeps taking photo with it. I am also happy that she is so happy for it. Friend, this is so much that I can do. May our friendship last as long as the sea and as high as the sky, endless. Liangting, happy belated birthday to you!!!

After meeting her and some time spent in Marina Square, I am meeting Yuru at Kovan than we take bus down to the venue of our dinner. But I have to wait for Yuki and hence we were almost late. Luckily Yuki treated us cab down to the venue and hence we are not late afterall.

At there I met Edmund and Jimmy kor!!! Thanks for reserving seats for me!!! We had a very enjoyable time at the restaurant thanks to CQ and his team~~~ We have free poster and also photo taking time and autograph session after dinner!!! Thanks CQ for the encouragement once again! It really able to push me work hard for new semester coming! Luckily you did not mentioned of my upcoming Perth trip if not I will be abit embarrass :X

Anyway, today is a happy Saturday!!! Afternoon surprise Liangting and night surprise me! Happy like deity!!! :D

Last day of F1!!! Finally but today wasn't that easy afterall. I was again assigned to set up the rooms that I did not managed to set up on Friday. But this time round I have two more helpers!!! This means that I have lesser time required and able to finish the job fast!!!

Today I also came to know a new friend who is also from SOH but different diploma! He is a nice chap just that I forgotten his name...

Anyway, today we have a lot to set up, like plates for the snacks, ice bowl, cups for coffee/tea... Gosh!!! So many chinawares!!! I so scare of glasses and here I am handling more than 100 of them!!! I swear I will have nightmares after this with all the vroooooooom sound in my head!!! Ahhhhhhh no more F1 next year for me!!! :X

Yay!!! Last day of work is 5pm till 11.20pm!!! The food in the canteen was not bad and we have free flow of water. Just that I cannot anyhow come down and drink during operation. But it's okay. Hmmm.... Should I consider Fairmount for my IIP in semester 2? Hmmmm..... Anyway, it's end of F1 temp job!!! Yay!!! $90+++ into my wallet!!!!

Last day of working in MOE HQ~~~ Sad and happy moments... Thanks Shuxian and Jiahua's treat for lunch today!!!

It's great knowing that Shuxian was ex RPians!!! Hehehe.... Jiahua is a nice chap and we living in same area - AMK!!! Hehehehe

Last day and my assignment is helping Mdm Teo for data entry! Oh yes, I forgotten when was my assignment for data entry in SEAB but we actually required to do it for two days we end up completing it within a day! Fast wor.. :D

Anyway, it is nice working in MOE HQ and I hope my next holiday will be able to come back here to work.

It's today!!! Dream comes true!!! I am finally heading to PERTH for a School Overseas Trip (SOT) for DHHM students!!! 60 of us!!!!

We assemble at T3 row 10 area at 10.15pm to do group check-in and before that we are each issued a luggage tag from Aisha.

At first we are told to go another row but the queue very long. So we went back to row 10 again. After that we waiting for all to assemble back then came briefing by Mr Fu (who wasn't going with us). He warned us that no food stuffs allowed on plane and no liquid more than the stated amount. The do's and don'ts on plane and at Perth. Than he wish us have a pleasant learning journey and see us in school soon.

Happily we set off to the check in and do some last minute shopping and walk around T3. I am amazed that there is a skytrain inside the boarding area!!! Call me suaku :D

When I board the plane, settled down and I slept for an hour than watched movie (Nu Hai Huai Huai) and listen to Ding Dang new songs. We only given breakfast 10 minutes before touching down. When we arrived at Perth, it is already 5am+ and the weather is said to be 6 degree celcius!!!

When we checked out from airport, we assemble and that is where we were introduced to Mr Eugene who planned for all the itenary and arrangements for our stay.

We are group into two groups A and B. I am Bus A and got a seat of my own. We heading to farm stay but have a stopover to one of the supermarket where they went down to buy some stuffs and I stayed in the bus as I have nothing to buy.

After that we headed to Orchard Glory Farm Resort!!! Eye opening moment~~~ The place is AWESOME!!! So nice scenery that you wouldn't mind staying for long though it is completely no connection with outside world as no reception for phone at all. One day I will come back here!

Oh yes! My lovely room mates are Peixian and Irene. They are awesome and great cook! We going to have supper together and also breakfast together. Sad to say we only staying here for a night and have to move off tomorrow. How sad it is!

We have our lunch than rest a while we set off for our sand sliding!!! Before we reached the destination, we have a short toilet break as there is no toilet around there. Then we proceed to collect the sliding boards, lastly we proceed to the destination.

When we reached there, already have some crowd. We are issued some candles to smooth the board to aid our sliding. Climbing up to the top of the sand hill is tiring! When you go down, you would not want to climb up.(At least for me) But sand sliding is FUN!!! At least I tried once and no regrets!

After than we all went back and dinner than rest for the day. Only one group will have to assemble for blogging. I have to apologise as I am late. Overall, today is fun but tiring day! This ends our Day 1 in Perth which is actually Day 2. :D

300912 (Saturday)
Woke up at 5am+ to realised that I have a bed heater but only can use it for another half an hour than prepare to wake up and wash up to have breakfast and ready to set off to city.

As we do not wish to go for the breakfast, we decided to cook the maggie mee with eggs for breakfast. Thanks Peixian and Irene for cooking them. :D

Before we set off leaving the farm stay, we have a tour around the farm and chance to feed pony, horse and sheep~~~ Photo taking at the same time! Then we went to the small winery and some time to cross over to opposite farm for orange packaging factory where we are given each an orange to try and also to take away.

Our lunch is at a winery bar where after lunch we get to taste the wine. After that we went to Nogurts factory and shop for some shopping and then to chocolate factory and shop for another shopping time!

Dinner at a very classical Indonesia Restaurant then we proceed to our City Stay Apartment for rest and relax. My room will be 218 and room mates are Kammie and Weixian and her friend. :D Rest and relax time~~~

This wrapped up my busy September and more exciting to come in my next blog~~~ :D

010912 (Saturday)
Today have two events crashed!!! CQ have an event at Nex while Leeteng have an event at Parkway Parade and I can get to see Cavin kor~~~

So I chose latter and gave up chance to see CQ. Luckily Yuru managed to help me buy the DVD and won a chance to have dinner with CQ!!! Yipee!!!

Today is happy day though I need to revise for the last battle - Chef module UT3!!! So not wanted to study but somehow have to. We sat at Mos Burger waiting for the cast to come out and waiting for kor to appear.

Finally our wait is over! They are all here and I managed to get autograph from kor and Leeteng!!! Super shy!!! Wanted kor to write something for me but shy till I don't have courage to ask.

030912 (Monday)
Finally last battle and I am done! H217 UT3 @ E24A!!! According to the faci, most people able to finish it within 30 minutes. Fastest records is 15 minutes!!! I think I am within 30 minutes done it. I think no chance of passing anyway.

So pray that I will pass this module and get over it!!!

Yay!!! Holiday is now coming!!!

Later have the compulsory pre trip briefing for SOT to Perth!!! Yipee~~~ LR W5~~~ Perth I am coming!!! :D

040912 (Tuesday)
First day of working in MOE HQ!!! Melissa is my supervisor and her name resemble my Uncle's wife name. :D

Just got the confirmation that I am employed by them yesterday after my UT3 and here I am reporting for the first day without any interview! It will be a 2 weeks project and subject to extension depends on projects.

Felt so weird as I am the only temp staff in formal wear. Thanks to the person who told me to be in formal wear for first day of work and no jeans! Haiz...

My first task is to photocopy documents and staple them accordingly. I stand at the photocopy machine till almost lunch time!

This is the time I came to know Shuxian and Jiahua. But I went lunch with another temp where she brings me to level 2 of the building as there is a canteen. As I do not have a staff pass so I have to pay like public price which is $0.50 expensive. :(

Anyway, the food is not bad and there is television showing channel 8! Had a small chat with her and know that we are both ITE grads but she wasn't going to continue her studies for don't know what reason as I never ask further. Lunch was a quick one as we only here for half an hour and back to office. She began to start work shortly after, making me feel so intense. I thought we only allowed half an hour lunch. :****(

First day is not bad experience. I made some friends and afterall admin wasn't boring job and I am kinda loving it as it is routine job and less brainer thingy. :D The only inconvenience for me will be when I go for toilet break, I have to wait for someone to go in or come out than I can get in as I do not have the staff pass. Hope soon I can be issuing staff pass. :D

Day 2 of working in MOEHQ. Finally I am issued a staff pass.

Something happened today and the temp staff next to me cried. Little did I know that she will not appear at work tomorrow leaving the project half done.

Anyway, happy that I have staff pass and finally no need change IC with pass!!!

060912 (Thursday)
Unexpected, she really did not come to work. Shuxian was guilty that she might be the caused of her leaving. I too felt guilty as I was doing way too fast till I almost have nothing to do.

I was asked to take over her job and little did I know I finished half of it before lunch break.

During lunch we discussed why she did not appear today. Heard she did not even call to say she is not coming. Until Melissa called and her mother said she not working anymore. She will return the pass tomorrow.

In the end, I finally clarify that our lunch hour is 1 hour and it starts when the time we stepped out. She scare she cannot finish on time that's why she so stress and when she unable to locate the documents, she panicked.

When I took over, I discovered that some stacks was already done but she somehow stacked together with other stacks hence could not locate them. Afterall, it is just to group them according to the printed list. All documents are on the table and no one touched it before. Hence there is no reason why cannot locate the documents unless it was taken away by Mdm(s) for some reasons.

Anyway, I really felt guilty for causing her stress as I do not know how to slow down. :*(

Today is Daddy (Andrew) singing competition day!!! Hope he can get through to next round!!!

Location at East Point and today have Kewei's appearance to announce of her new plans to Japan and also to sing the theme song for drama Wo Men Deng Ni!!! :D

Unfortunately, Daddy did not get in. Nevermind Daddy, to us, you are already champion!

After that we rushed down to Bugis+ to support Adeline for her part in the Neighbourhood Society (Ling Li He Zhuo Se) Finale! Luckily we managed to lend our support. Have some photo taking and auto session! :D What a wonderful Sunday!

100812 (Friday)
Today is  eve of last lesson for SQPE. Time flies and soon Year 2 Semester 1 will come an end.

How nice if time can be stopped at this few hours of fun learning. I enjoyed in Mrs Yeo's class and I like her way of teaching. Though less lesson doesn't mean I will never be able to meet her. But chances are slim though.

Anyway, almost whole class will be ghaoing for their IIP as they are the Year 3 Semester 1 students. They are a fun batch and through them I learnt a lot. Thanks for all their love care and concern. I love W54N class. But all things have to come to an end. May we meet outside and have some time chill together. Love ya. :D

Thank you Mrs Yeo for having so much faith that I can do well and I can survive in RP. She is the third facilitator who knew of my problems. Her advice was similar with Miss Lim which made me wonder are they somehow related. Mrs Yeo, not sure will you read this, I promise I will do my very best for the upcoming UT3 and I will not let you down. I know I have to get over all and done with. There is no turning back for me. No matter how many times I am saying I am about to give up, but actual fact is, I don't wish to end it this way. You are correct that I have come so far and giving it up this way will make all my hard work gone to drain. Thanks for all the care, concern and advices. I really appreciate that. :D

130812 (Monday)
Last lesson for Microeconomics. That marks an almost end for my surviving in economics though there will be Macroeconomics next semester. Anyway, Miss Delphine is a very nice chap. She is very friendly and also generous. Why do I say that?

She is the first and the only facilitator who treat us lunch on our last lesson together. For your info, her treat wasn't just a drink but its pizza treat that cost more than $90. I do not know the total bill as I wasn't the one who ordered.

After lesson, we have some photo takings. I will never forget her and hope that we can be friends. Whenever I have difficulties in understanding, she will try her best to explain till I get it. When I told her I fear that I might fail Microeconomics, she told me fret not. I will pass eventually as based on my daily grades, I am doing fine. Thanks Miss Delphine for having so much faith in me. Though I cannot promise I will pass UT3 but I will try my very best not to fail that badly. :D

Today we have a plan to surprise Kewei~~~ We meet all those who can make it at Aljunied MRT and head down to S2S office.

But little did we know that they have moved to another location! Luckily we managed to get the actual address and rushed down by cab to their new location.

Food and decorations are all done and waiting for us. When we reached, we put our things aside, slowly we walk to the office where Kewei is dicussing with manager. Somehow, she heard our footsteps and turned. Surprise bday bash a success!!! She is shocked and happy. Little did she know that it was a plan coordinate with S2S all the managers and staffs. Thanks to Dean and Kristen! We have fun chatting and also know Kewei's plan more. She going to Japan soon. Yay!!! Wish her success in whatever she does and hope she like our presents and bday surprises. We stayed till S2S close and still reluctant to leave till finally Kewei left than we walk to MRT station and head home. Happy Advance Bday Kewei!!! :D

Last lesson for SQPE!!! Today is last lesson~~~ Sad but no choice.

After class, I managed to rush down for Management Accounting UT Clinic. Hearing some tips and hoping it will assist me ace my UT3~~~ Though I no need to ace it and I already passed this module.

One more school day and it marks an end for Year 2 Semester 1!!! Happy and sad at the same time. Anyway, life still goes on and days still pass.

Today is Serene's performance at Wan Qing Yuan!!! Meeting Evonne and the rest at 6pm at Toa Payoh than we take bus down to Wan Qing Yuan.

Princess Serene saw us! She keeps looking at us and sings, though she have heights phobia. Her parents are also very happy to see us and even reserve a place for us. So kind of them :D

We cheer for Princess Serene and also Wu Jiahui. We even asked them to sing Lala together! So happy. We have some photo taking after the whole event and I also got her autograph!!!

Thanks for Yuki, we managed to grab ticket for Army Daze and catch it together before it ends.

It was a splendid performance! Happy for CQ that he have this chance to be part of the cast for Army Daze!

After that we have mini autograph sessions and phototakings! Thanks CQ for signing on all my books, tickets and also Army Daze book! I am the fortunate one to have his autograph on 4 items!

After the happening weekend, today is time to face battle!

First battle of Year 2 Semester 1 is Management Accounting in W24A! I have no confidence that I can do well but they said that since I have CQ's lucky charm so I will be able to breeze through.

The questions weren't difficult and somehow I managed to clear all questions. Just hope that I will not fare badly. Hoping for a B if not C+ at least. :D

As promise to Miss Delphine that I will do my very best. Somehow I do not have much confidence after completing the whole paper.

Anyway, just hope I can secure at least a C. Two more battles and I am done! Holiday is round the corner and Perth I am COMING!!! :D

Rarely I will start powerpoint especially for Microeconomics. I do not know why, today I seems to be very hardworking.

I started the powerpoint and have almost done before lunch time, left 4 more slides and we are done for the PPT~~~ With the help of 6P, I am progressing. But then again, when comes to UT, I tends to panick and make many mistakes. I do not know how to progress, just hope that I am able to pass it, even if it is marginally.

But when comes to reflection journal, I do not know how to do. Hopefully my daily grade will not be pull down by my RJ. :D

Today is the day we need to hand in the Camp Resilience. If I am being selected, 19-20 September will be burnt. But then if not being selected, I do not know when is the next time they will held this.

Although I am so reluctant but since my seniors all went through it, so I can also goes through it. I am so looking forward for 28 September as it is the day we will fly over to Perth~~~

August is also happy month as this semester will come to an end before UT3 by 21st August. How nice it can be? Plus, we have two public holidays in between due to National Day and Hari Raya!!! Great right? I am sure I am able to get over it and ace my UT3s. Pass me all luck!!! :D

Today is also a happy day. It's my first time going up SOH office at W4 Level 8. Upon coming down for lunch, I met a staff coming out from the office. Out of the norm, I asked her which floor she heading to. She asked if I am from SOH, I said yes and she praised me that I am so polite. What a happy day which chase away my sadness. :D Sunshine after the rain~~~ :P

Happy Saturday~~~ Today I finally successfully baked mini cookies. Why is it mini? Cause the size is really mini. My mum scolded me when she saw the mini cookies and say wasting time baking this small cookies. But then, I am super happy as I succeeded without her help. Although she did not see the mess I have created before she came home. If not she will be jumping. :X

Shall try again next Saturday.

Today is also Apple celebrating her 21st Birthday at The Bottle Tree. I met with PX and Waishi to go together with them as the present we bought together. To our surprise, only us and Ivan who came for her bday bash. The rest of her friends all either say they sick or their parents sick. In the end, her relatives came more than her friends. Anyway, Happy 21st Birthday, Apple. May you be forever healthy and happy. Friends forever. :D Thanks for inviting us to your birthday party and you look really like Princess today. <3 font="font">

Today is the last day we will be 'working' in Oliva. It is a very new concept this week - Chinese Banquet.

I chose to be in the soup department. Apart from making the soup, I also need to fry the spring roll for the cold platter where I will fry as per person ordered and hand over to the cold kitchen for them to place at the cold platter.

How time flies~~~ It is already Week 14 and that is an end for our cooking inside Oliva. Next semester we will be the servers in Oliva. So not looking forward but it is what we all have to go through. So breeze through it.

After the operation, we took a group photo without Chef Flora. It is really amazed that how a team of 6 can make it through the whole process. But without help from all the chefs, I doubt we all can made it. So to thank all the chefs, I made the mini cookies and gave to them. I know the presentation wasn't that great but it is my gratitute towards them. If I succeed again this Saturday, I wish to present it again to all the chefs.

Hope I do not fail this module as I do not wish to come back to kitchen although I do not hate cooking. But I hate to cook western style. :X

Pray hard that I will pass this module even if it is marginally. Please give me C!!! :D

CSKO Lesson 14~~~ Today no QSR, no knife sets, no safety boots and no apron~~~

It is art and craft time!!! No PPT~~~ How nice it is!!! Time flies and next week will be last lesson for CSKO!!! After that we are all left alone for revising for UT3~~~

Although from team of 5 we left till 3 person, but somehow, we managed to get over the lesson and completed them.

Pray hard that I can pass this module as I did very badly in UT2. May I pass UT3 with flying colours. :D

Happy National Day~~~ Happy 47th Birthday to SINGAPORE~~~ Chef Shunsuke say Singapore is younger than his father. :D

As I did not have the tickets, so I catch it at home. Before that, I went to Bugis with mum to search for the mixing bowl that I can use to make the cookie's dough. But sad to say, we could not find it.

Mummy say cannot use red to type but Singapore flag is red and white. Hence I think if I write using red words, it also means I am happy that I am a Singaporean. I am proud to be Singaporean. My mum always say she love Singapore as it is safe country with no riots and no gun fights. People live with ease with no worries of our safety. It is really true.

I know that our safety do not come that easy. I am happy to be call a Singaporean. Hence, I wish that one day I can do Singapore proud by being a good team player in work. To be successful in whatever I do. Thank you Singapore. Happy Birthday SINGAPORE~~~ Forever vibrant and young~~~ :D

Today got Module Selection Briefing but as we have the Chef module as usual and needed to be at Oliva the whole afternoon excluding time for lunch. Hence, we are unable to attend this briefing. As spoken with Mr Fu, he will be arranging another session for us to attend as it is important for us. Again, it is just a foul play where we have no choice in the selection of modules for next semester. All we needed to do is to accept it and submit the choice. Well, that's life in SOH. I think it's good and also bad. Good where we do not need to crack our head on which modules to choose. Bad is due to we do not have a say in the choice. But then, since these are the compulsory modules, no matter what we all have to go through. So just breeze through them and ace them. :D

After Oliva lesson, it is our Microeconomics UT2. I do not know why it has to be after Oliva where apart from bringing the heavy knife sets and safety shoes, we also need to bring our heavy laptop. When this day comes, I really miss my netbook super much as it is lighter and smaller to carry around. But what's happened can never be undone. So just be glad that I still have a laptop on hand to continue my semesters. If not, I really do not think I can even complete my studies as promise.

Today's paper consider easier as compared to UT1 but again, I have flopped it. I really have problem answering it when the sentences were changed. I can do it when it is worksheet based where we learn it step by step. But when the questions jumbled up, I have problem answering it. How nice it will be that 70% or at least 60% were MCQs, than I can pass it for sure. :D But then, that is fat hope dream. So moving forward, I still have my daily grade which is on average B's hence I might not fail this module unlike that time when I have to learn the whole Economics and I did not managed to pass it at all. Hopefully, now I can pass it marginally.

Today is the briefing for Perth SOT for the 60 students who made it for the selection at LR-W5. I am so happy that I am one of the 60 students who made it for the Perth trip.

We were given PSEA form, Perth SOT Registration form and also Medical checkup form. We were also asked to photocopy our passport and submit by 2 August to RHC. The registration form and medical form are to be completed by 8 August and submit to One Stop Centre. By then, we also need to have flu jab.

Hipeee~~~ I am so going to Perth!!! :D

Today is the makeup for Module Briefing. We were all briefed and asked to be extra careful and take note if there is any mistakes on the modules being assigned to us. What we had this semester are not to be repeated next semester.

So what are awaiting for me next semester are Macroeconomics, Rooms Operation Practicium, service module, Food and Beverages Management and HIS. Sounds very profound but it is what we all have to go through.

I cannot wait for my next semester to start. But first, I need to pass all my present modules especially my Chef module. I do not wish to step into the kitchen anymore. :X

Today is CSKO UT2. Initially I thought I can ace it. Something happened just before UT starts. My laptop screen cracked!!! How could it happened at this point of time?

Left with no other alternatives, I have to do paper UT without any references. When I look through each questions, I panicked. Nothing came out from my head. Hence, I already do not pinned hope that I will do better than UT1. I am so sad. But what really made me depressed was my father's unhelpfulness.

When I rushed home, I wanted to borrow $700 from my dad. But no matter how I plead, he still will not lend me. Luckily, my mum came and rescue me from the plight. If not for her, I would not have any laptop for tomorrow's UT.

Luckily for me also was the hard disk still working and all my notes are intact. Hope that the IT people can configure in time for me for my UT tomorrow. Please please please, hopefully this netbook can live till my end of polytechnic life. I really wish I can get over all the semesters without any hiccups ever again!!!

What a sad, depressed and down time for me today. Thanks Mummy for the great help. Without your help, this could never happened. I will love you doubly when I step into work force again. Without your encouragements, I would never come this far. :D

Today is excursion day!!! Yipeee~~~

Initially, we are heading to MBS but then due to some unforeseen circumstances, we heading to Vivo City instead...

We do not need to do PPT as usual instead, we need to jot down points into mahjong paper provided for us to present later. Our assigned two destination are Cotton On and Desigual. We have to see the colour they used to attract customer, if the air condition too cold, the air fresh, etc.

On top of that, we have to see if there are any fail points which they can improve on and present it based on our five senses, sight, smell, touch, taste and listen.

It's our first field trip with SQPE classmates, I really enjoyed very much. After that some of us went opposite HarbourFront there to have our lunch and chit chat sessions. Great time we spent before we head off to our destinations. Happy Friday!!! :D

Today there is briefing for the Perth SOT Pre Selection. As I am very interested to go Perth with the school, hence I am going for the briefing for sure. Tomorrow at 2230hrs they will on the polling page for us to register. Only first 60 students will get selected for this Perth trip. I really hope I will be one of the top 60 people.

The more I hear Mr Al talking of the Perth trip, the more I am very looking forward to. In order for me to succeed, I must get ready my laptop at 2200hrs in order to fight against 200++ people. Pray hard and I shall get in top 60 DHHMians. :D

After school will be CBS performance in the dark at NP. It is my first time going NP's dialouge in the dark. I reached very late and only able to hear them sing last few songs. But great experience as it is really total darkness as though we are all really blind. What you can see is black and the only sense that works super well will be hearing. You are able to focus very well and can totally enjoy the songs.

When we are finally lead out of the dark, we are all relieved as to us darkness is the most scariest things on earth. I cannot imagine a day when I lost my sight what will I do. We are not allowed to bring in any devices that have lights, including our watches.

It is really great experience! Thanks, CBS for giving me this chance to experience this so great experience. Love ya ttm!!! :D

Today is my last day working at the stall at Orchard Central. 2nd last day of my 2 weeks holiday from school.

Sales are not bad and I also bought something for Adeline and Jie. Hopefully they will like my present. Wonder when will I be able to pass them their gift but one day I will be able to.

As we are located at B2 where not much people will know, the sales obviously will be affected as compared to Level 1 where many people will walk past there.

I really hope soon I will be able to help out like this event provided that I am available. I made new friends and enjoy working there.

Today is the event where Mediacorp Artistes cheers for Team Singapore in support for the Olympics in London that will be coming few months later.

Adeline is involve hence Adelogyworld will definately be involve too. Event held at Orchard Cineleisure, open space outside the mall. She goes up along with those artistes who will be appearing at the new variety sport show, Battle @ Water Margin which will be showing from next Tuesday onwards, every Tuesday, 8pm at Channel 8.

We were all cheering and showing our support for her. After the event, we also took photos with her. Cannot wait for next week for her Joys of Life Meet and Greet event at East Point Mall. Hope to see more Adelogians coming for the events. :D

Today is SQPE UT1 Clinic happening at LT-E5. After lesson, I rush to the venue to see only a few turns up.

Module chair goes through very fast but she did reminded us some important things to take note. Just hope that it will not be tough if not I might fail it without me realising it.

Today is the compulsory talk on the Housekeeping trends and best practices at LR W5. We were all been escort by Miss Su. It was my first time seeing her but almost all my classmates in Microeconomics have seen her and known her as they have their HIS modules but mine was replaced by SQPE. Sad right? She asked about my name and she mentioned she saw my name in the list before. Probably she knew of me having to switch my modules.

I was amazed by how technology can change and make things easier for the housekeeper. Now we can hire senior citizens to work as housekeeping department without worrying that they will hurt their back.

The bed can be raised up so that we can clean things under the bed which made things easier for us.

Though we often did something that irritates the speaker where she kept asking us to maintain eye contact with her.

I am more and more interested to work in housekeeping department and will be looking forward for IIP which will be coming soon when I step into Year 3.

Today is first SQPE after the 2 weeks break!!! Mrs Yeo told us that Week 9 we going to have site visit at the place where two fall accident occurs--- MBS.

Exciting right? Today more exciting is, two girls from a secondary school came to our class to see how was lesson being conducted. It was their last day of participation and they have been here since Monday. But heard they are only Secondary 3. Hope they will like RP and come join us when they graduated from secondary school.

Today our presentation is skit. We have to act out what should be the correct way to reject something that is not professional and what is business etiquettes like based on the problem statement given.

Of course, the two secondary school girls are suppose to be part of the skit too. It was fun though we did not really do quite well as compared to other team. But ours was hilarious. Thanks to all the team effort and I really enjoying SQPE every friday. Thanks to all of you!!! :D

Today is the cast of Joys of Life Meet and Greet session at East Point Mall!!! Many were there very early, heard it was from early in the morning they camping at there already.

After meeting with one of the member, I went down to meet the rest who were already there. We had lots of laughter when the casts where having games and some introduction of their roles in the drama.

It ended with the hand shaking session when those who got the pass are able to go up and shake hands with them.

Before Adeline leave for her own time after this, we had our group photos just outside Old Chang Kee. Not bad background isn't it. She kept asking are we going to eat the items selling at OCK. Finally the day has come! SQPE UT1 at 4.45pm in W54N~~~ I was super early as we are released early due to no network for doing anything after 4pm. Yipee!!!

It means more time for me to revise. But then, I really do not know how to study. So I really hope that the questions will not be tough.

When time strikes 4.45pm, I became nervous. All the words looks super foreign to me. Especially for the short response questions. I really do not know how to answer them.

Though I did not leave any blank but then, I was unable to finish the whole paper and the system automatically uploaded my answers. OMG!!!

Pray hard I will not fail that badly.

Today is really a very stressful day for me. Microeconomics UT1 will commence at 4.45pm at E45K! I wasn't well prepared and I really worried that I will not do very well this round.

After H217 lesson, I quickly rush over and sit down for some revision. As I did not do any notes for this. I solely relying on the 6Ps and the Practice Questions for UT. Although I went for the UT clinic but it did not gave me confidence at all. I was also very tired after the whole day working in Oliva.

How to concentrate like this? Praying hard that it will not be a tough paper. But then, it turns out to be not so difficult just that I have problem understanding it. Please let me pass with at least a C!!! :*(

Today after Microeconomics class is UT clinic for MA at LR-E4. I will never miss any UT clinic especially MA. I would say it is useful as the module chair going through important points from Problem 1-5 and also the important questions in the practice questions.

Most of the questions, I am able to answer without referring. But some I really need some more practice.

Pray hard that it will be breeze for me this round and also for UT2 so that I will not be stress for UT3~~~ My daily grades aren't bad but I must prevent not to take too many MCs if not I will miss out a lot in class.

Today is CSKO UT Clinic. I also do not know why I am here when my heart was not even here.

Was warned of certain things but I did not take note. All I wanted was that it will be ending soon.

Well, heard that the paper will not be that difficult as long as we know the stuffs. Knowing the differences of different cooking methods will help us much.

Basically, it is to know the important notes from each problem, we will be fine. So I guess the questions were set by Chef Shunsuke as he is able to drop us some hint for the questions. Just that I am too tired to catch them all. Pray hard that I can get over with a breeze~~ It's next Wednesday, straight after CSKO lesson!!! :X

Today, I am a bad student. I skip school without valid reason. Luckily I have friend who is able to help me by sending me the notes for the day.

Why do I skip class today? That is due to meeting our dearest Princess as I super long never see her and she yearn to see us. It was a close door meeting for discussion of the FC matters and also to have a small chat with her.

We played a small prank on her. Lying that we have not reached, I went over to the door area and push the door a bit making the bell at the door rings, than jump up to scare her. Too bad, we did not take the photo of her shocked face when she saw me appearing at the counter from nowhere. :D

She asked Kim where did I came from, from the door or from the room inside? Clear answer was from the classroom inside. :D

Had a small chat and also took some photos with her. Asking her to sign on the banner and also some of the leaflet with her face on it to give to some of the Muffins. :D After which she needs to have some meeting before she heading to Taiwan for some backup vocals event.

She said hopefully the new album will be releasing soon and she will be able to have a gathering soon. Right now she is being tight down by works for her new album and also for some performance elsewhere. Hope that she can be strong and jiayouz. No matter what, Muffins will always be behind her supporting. :D

Falling sick is not a very good timing for me to work in Oliva but then I do not wish to miss any lesson as the UT2 is round the corner. I have yet know all the skills and am very worried that I could not perform well in UT2.

Today I am in charge of the main course with Helena, Shihui. Weiling and also Qien, where Helena, Shihui and me will be in charge of the seafood, prawns and the mussles, Qien and Weiling in charge of the calamari and the pasta.

Frankly speaking, I am not happy with my performance today. If not for Chef Soon and Chef Flora, I guess I will jam up the operation. Time and again I tell myself to be working fast and steady. Each time I failed to do so. When will I be able to get hold of the speed? I really do not know.

Wish next week I will be faster and alert a bit. Get well soon, Elaine!

CSKO UT1 will commence at 4.45pm at W55H! Wonder why it wasn't the same class where we have our CSKO so that we no need to shift. Anyway, I am not quite prepared for it.

The questions were not very difficult but due to nervousness, I think I did badly.

Just hope the end results will not be that bad. At least a C I will be contented.

Last UT1 of the semester!!! It is MA UT1, but sad to say in the Microeconomics class only three of us having UT. The rest can go home and have fun!!! :***(

Though after going through the notes given by the module chair but I am not at least confidence in doing well.

After attempting the paper, I was even low in confidence as my answers are different from many of them. That is a bad point when you checking answers with the rest of the class.

I do not pin hope for a B this time. A C will cheer me up a little. I will work hard in UT2 and pass it with ease. :D

Next week will be field trip and able to be in jeans and t-shirt! TGIF!!!

Though we going to have lesson as usual and will be release for lunch before we boarded the bus, but I am very looking forward for that!

Today lesson is also very lively. We have two groups doing presentation on dinning etiquettes and the do's and don'ts when attending the important lunch interviews.

There are many things to take note and I also learnt many things like, we needed to act fast and our brain need to work fast also so that there will never be any awkward silence.

When encounter that you have an interview today but the interviewer did not wait for you and went off home which resulting you failed in having an interview, what are the steps you needed to do to safeguard yourself and not to be stuck in a situation where you are unable to go for your IIP.

We must immediately write an email to the person in charge of IIP and explain the situation to that person, ask if able to arrange for another interview at an earlier timing. This way we can show that we want the job and we are sincerely apologetic for not able to meet the interviewer though it might seems to be the interviewer's fault.

It makes me understand more and looking forward for IIP which will be half a year more or a year more depending which semester I will be having IIP. :D

(Finally June came to an end and July is coming real soon! Meaning my school days will end in two months time and preparing for last UTs for this semester!) Time flies and I am not working as hard as before. Nevertheless, I will ensure that I will have least failures and will try to pull up my socks and also my results. Bear with me for being low in spirit. I will slowly build myself up and strive for a better future. :D )

Today will be busy day for me. Why? Will be going to school, excursion at IRAS and than to Square 2 for event. Woodlands --> Novena --> Novena (hehehe...)

To start off the day, we have Microeconomics UT Clinic to prepare us for the upcoming UT1. After that will be excursion to IRAS. It let us gain some insight on Taxation. It is really an eye opener for me. GST was implemented in 1994, IRAS was being formed in 1948. They have transformed for strictly paper submission to e-Filing of taxation. How technology did miracles! I also learnt that who will be tax, where your yearly pay is S$22,000 and above. Which means every month you will have at least S$1840 than you will be liable for personal tax. :X

This made me wonder why I will receive a letter asking me to file my tax when my maximum pay is only S$1350 when I work before entering polytechnic. :X

Anyway, the whole excursion ended at 4.15pm and I was super early for the event at 8pm at Square 2 which is just across the road.

Nothing to do on hand and bored, I walked over to TTSH hoping to meet my elder brother and hoping for a free treat from him. I was lucky!!! I saw him and he treated me Subway cookies~~~ Should have asked for a subway meal but I cannot eat too full as need to go home for dinner. :D

Why I need to be at Square 2 today? It's of course for CQ! His first book launched today! "Cheng Yu Bu LAME!!!" I online managed to online reserved a book and get it at the price of $13.50 when others needed to pay $14.90. :D

CQ also autographed on the book. I also managed to take picture with him, Weibin and also handsome host that day. :D

Fruitful Friday that will be a great kick start of my weekend~~~ Woohoo!!! :D

What a Saturday when needed to go school at 0830-1700!!! Luckily, Chef Edie managed to shorten the time till 12pm for us to have our lunch and study for the test later.

It's all about hygiene in the kitchen. I cannot believe that I am that stupid to almost failed the test twice. Luckily Chefs gave me chances and let me pass broadline. If not I would have to come back another round. :*(

After that, I went home and have a rest. But over shot the time as I was told to be at MDC by 7pm. I managed to reach only at 7.15pm. Anyway, we have to wait till 8pm than can enter. So I am consider not late. :D

Why am I at MDC today? For only the Sheng Siong Show? Nope!!! It is because for ChaBanSheng!!! :D I am there to root them and hopefully can have picture with them! :D Likez them ttm!!! Hopefully I am able to get their EP soon. Also hope that their 2nd album will be out real soon. :D

Today is excursion day to see pots and pans and all the kitchen items~~~ Although we have lesson in the morning, but everyone is looking forward for today as we can get to step out of school and no formal wear today!!! :D

Time will pass very fast.

After this excursion, I realised that all the kitchen items not that cheap. If you wish to have better quality, you have to invest. We also gained a lot of insights and we get to see many different bowls, plates and utensils. I also get to see funny shapes bottles of soft drinks. Different plates for different uses and different events. Anyway, to be a real chef, you need a lot more things to learn. I do not wish to be a chef so, after this semester, hopefully, I can say bye bye to chef module. :D

Thanks to Minyi, Peiqi and Kaiting. We are able to catch "Ghost on Air" preview today!

Managed to go home changed, done RJ and have some rest before head down to Shaw Lido! But my job today was not to take picture with CQ. My job is to catch Adeline. :D

It's my first duty after being appointed as admin. At last managed to take one precious photo with her. To my surprise, I met Dawn. Super duper long never see her. Glad that she still remembers me even though we have not met ever since our last lesson at Peter laoshi there. Hehehe... Seriously, I miss the times we had in the class singing our hearts out. Nice knowing you, Dawn. I am also glad that you are doing very well now. Seeing your success, I am happy for you. May you have smooth career and continue to shine. I will be supporting you in my heart. :D

Comment on the movie: CQ's acting really brilliant. Not because he is my number 1 idol. But everyone who watched this movie also said that his acting skills improved tremendously. I can see his hardwork and certainly this will not be the only time I will catch it. At least two more time. :D CQ, I wish you all the best and may all your wishes comes true. Three days of holiday starting TODAY! Although some facilitators said it is meant to be the study days for us at home. But seriously, how many will stay home and study?

Anyways, today will be bored at home day. But what consolation for me is, I can sleep till very late that wake up. No school, no laptop and no homework~~~ :D

Today is briefing for the pushcart sale at Orchard Central. I will be at the pushcart on 4 June and also 7 June.

Briefing for us to know the place and also what products that we are selling. We also have the carboot sale which is collaboration with the 8 Days Car Boot Sale. But I wasn't involved due to some events happening. :D

Knowing my duties and attire rules, I am very looking forward for that. Hopefully will be able to sell many items and do our part for charity. :D

Today is Adeline hosting the Food Expo 2012 with Chen Tianwen. I am very glad that we have 17 members that turned up in today's event.

Thanks each and everyone for the time taken to come down and root for Adeline. She is very happy to see us. We are also fortunate to be the only one taking the group photos after the event. :D

Although there are some hiccups here and there and I made many mistakes. Overall, it was a success event. I must say, I like the way Adeline dress today. She really look like still schooling. Vibrant and energetic. :D

Jiayous Adeline. I will work hard to ensure each and every event a success. :D

Today is MJ hosting with Eelyn. Was down to give support but did not take photos. Anyway, I am glad to be there as we gain more insights on the items and I also get to see the crystal ball performance before MJ and Eelyn appearing on stage. Great performance! :D

Did not really promise anyone but eventually went down to support Kate and Andie. :D

Was so lucky to be called up to answer question and gain a pack of eggs that I can bring home for my mother to cook sunny side up for us for dinner. :D

Gain many insights on the Sakura products and how it will helps in our body. Thanks for all the fun we had and finally the Food Expo 2012 came an end today. :X

(Time flies, a month is gone. It's June, school holidays for Secondary, Primary schools. Polytechnic students no have one month holiday. :**( Anyways, had a very fruitful month and enjoyed very much. Knowing that I will get busier as the days drew passed. It's going to be Week 6 when the school starts on 11 June. Must study hard for UT1. Give me power~~~ Strive for A~~~ :D )
