Today is a happy and sad day for me. My first ex was getting married today and I am not the bride. He invited me to his wedding but I did not turn up.

How can I see the one I love, walk along the red carpet and solemn with another female instead of me. So I decided to attend my friend's organised party at MusicDreamer. It was the best way to escape from sorrow.

Before today, I went for a hair cut on Thursday. I cut my hair real short. To others, it was just playing with hairstyles. To me, I am wishing that new hairstyle means new life.

I know I cant bluff myself that I can forget him. But I have to tell myself, Elaine, Its time to let go. I am learning and hope one day, I can face him and his wife without feeling hurt.

This may sound stupid, but I really was unable to forget in one day. The happy times we shared will be my memory forever. I wish him happily ever after and hope that one day, I can find my Mr Right.

I tried to enjoy today's programmes. But somehow, I felt sad. I cant hide my feelings and do not wish to affect others. Hence, after the event, I decided to go off on my own. But I told everything to my best friend. She understands me and gave me a lot of encouragement. Thank you, my friend. Your performance was great. Really enjoyed at that moment and forgotten my sorrows. But I am sorry for making you worried. I promise, I will try and forget or let go him. This is something I have to do and must do. I must walk out of his shadow. I will and hope you will support me thru. Thank you so much....

Updates Updates and More Updates...(9 September 2007)
Hi All
Finally got the chance to sit down and pen down the updates... Well, I had a very busy week... As usual, Monday and Wednesday was used to go for my study after work.

To all who had just flipped to this blog. Yes, I finally enrolled and study at PSB Academy for my Diploma In Management Accounting and Finance. My class name was DMA3/07... I made a pool of friends there... They are all so loveable and friendly. We came from all different company and some even working not related to accounting at all(Just like me).

It is great where all came from different places and can get together as a class... Our age gaps was not very huge... In fact, the age gap was only a year or two... Haha...

Most of them took this course as they wish to change job. Some like me, took it for interest.. Interest??? I suppose so for me..

Every Monday and Wednesday was rushed for me as I need to have my dinner before I went for the lesson. As by the time I were to reached home, it is already 11plus liao... Didnt wish to eat so late meals. So had to plan my time well so that I wont be late for lesson. But glad that our teacher allow us to eat in the class while she teach but we cant bring in strong smelling food so as not to distract the class too much. Nevertheless, we will be given a short break for us to refreshed ourselves.

English class was never so fun before. The lecturer is friendly and she is also pretty... She is understanding and would released us very early... We like her way of teaching and enjoyed her lessons... Looking forward for tomorrow's lesson... :P

7 September 2007(Friday)
Friday(7/9/07), I went to watch movie with my two best buddies at Cathay AMK Hub. The movie we watched was Ratatollie... Haha.. It was cute and worth the ticket price I would say. We were very excited and looking forward for the movie. Indeed, the movie did not disappoint me. I enjoyed the whole movie. After movie, we went to arcade and played for a while... Then afterwhich, we walked to Mos Burger for a drink and chit chat as it was still early... We had some chit chat and then walked home together.

8 September 2007(Saturday)
On Saturday, 080907, I met one of my best buddy for KTV session. Why? Cos I need her help in choosing the song for my audition which is Sunday 090907... What audition??? It was the Fame Awards organised by Union and Sunday is the audition but I had not decide on what song to sing.

Luckily I have her by my side to help me choose the song.. Thanks Jorine.... We had great time together and had our dinner at Genki Sushi... Before the dinner, we went to Music Dreamer and registered for the audition on 26 September. Paid the fees of $16.05 and then we went for dinner. After that we walk walk a while, than we walked to the MRT station and we landed at Sengkang and went back to our home individually...

9 September 2007(Sunday)
Sunday, 090907, the day had finally came where my audition was scheduled. It was done at Scarlet City at AMK Hub. Though the audition was stated to be starting at 3pm, but we were asked to come early at 2pm to get things done. I must say that the audition was not an organised one. The person who is in-charge for the name ticking and give the queue number was not very experience and took up quite some time. The songs we selected was wrongly printed for some of us. Then when she tried to reorganised, she had many obsticles. People came in one by one and was all crowding around her. She should have asked according to the name list and get things done one by one. Anyway, it is ok for me as first timer.

Then once everything confirmed and queue number was given, we were asked to sit in another room whereby another organizer explained to us the procedure and what to do. Then the audition started. We waited in the room for our number to be called. Then line one by one outside the audition room. By the time it was my turn, it was already 4plus.. I did not sing well. So I supposed I could not get in ba... Haha... Anyway, I am not sad if I didnt get in. Cos I dot think I will be in the first place... Anyway, it is experience gained so that i can do better for the next round of audition for the other singing contests. I will not give up and will try and try and try.... Till I am too old for the competition... Haha... But must comment that the organizer did not done a good job. Though they updated all the songs for us in one of the list but did not update the list for the judges. I was so angry when they insert the song which I never heard of. Well, if they are organising the singing contest, I suppose all the information for judges must be correct and this mistakes should never happened. Hope that next round, they can do better... :P

12 September 2007(Wednesday)
The results were out in the morning. Expected, I did not get in. But never mind. I will go for another audition for MusicDreamer on 26 September 2007, Wednesday. I will try my very best and get the part time singer contract. Wish me good luck.

13 September 2007(Thursday)
Today is blood donation day. As usual, I am all ready for this. I went up at 10am plus... As it was still early, there wasn't a lot of donors.
The nurse who attended me was new, I think, as I never saw her before. Then I got a very bad feeling that today will not be successful. As I expected, there is bruises. Since there is bruises appearing, it means that the blood clots. Haiz... They stopped the process and applied medication and put ice bag on the affected area. So sad that this round again unsuccessful. Well, Saturday there is a mobile blood donation drive at Dhoby Ghaut. I planned to go there. Hope it will be successful. :P

14 September 2007(Its FRIDAY)
Today I made Eshal very angry. All cos my brain not thinking as I was very hungry. Didnt eat my breakfast. Haha... When she left to go Prinsep House for attending some matters, I finally got what she wants me to help. Haiz...

Then I tried and done at 1215.... Phey... Hope that when Eshal came back she will forgive what I had done just now after seeing that task I've done as per her request.

As it was heavy rain, Linda, Lili and I decided to eat Instant Noodles for lunch. So we went to 7-11 to buy. Then we headed back to office. When we went back, we soaked the noodles with hot water and headed back to our seats. After that, it was already almost 1300 liao. So Linda and Lili went up to have the dessert prepared by the Staff Lounge Lady. As I was quite filled up, so I did not went up eventually. I did some of the Mathematics homework and then went to clear my emails.

Suddenly, Altricia came and places a box of Bao Dian on my desk and asked me to pass to GC, Lili, Eshal and Azizah and also myself. Then she left... As it was fasting month and it wasnt halal, so I gave that bun to Linda instead. We sent emails to thank Altricia for her treat but told her next time dot buy hor.. Hehe...

Today got project discussion, so I left office early. Before I wanted to shut down my mailbox, I saw the weblink of the Mathematics help courtesy from Eshal. She was so good to me and helpful to me. Whenever I faced problems, she always helped me. I was so touched and appreciated the help she rendered and also time and again, the chances she gave me to change. She is a great manager and a great sister. If I were her real sister, I think, I will be the very fortunate sister. :P

26 September 2007(Wednesday)
Today was audition for MusicDreamer Singer. I and my friend registered but wasn't fully prepared.

Thinking back, I really chosen the wrong song. I should have chosen Cai Chun Jia's Feng Ling as this is the song I am very good at. But I chosen Diya's version of Chu Mo.

Very disappointed. Due to nervous. All my tune went out. Think I didnt got in was expected. Never mind. I will not be sad but it will be one of my experience gained. Next time, I will do it better.

Well, I must thank June for taking out her rest time. Rushed down here straight after work. Though I know I disappointed her, but she didnt mind. She even encouraged us and said we sang very well. I promise, next round, I will do my very best. Now preparing for next year's Project Superstar. Wish me good luck. Meantime, will look for opportunity to take part in small competition to gain more experience. :P

29 September 2007(Saturday)
Today was a post celebration for my best friend Yuhui. Her birthday was actually on 25th September but we do not have time to meet up that day. So we set a later date today to celebrate with her for her super belated birthday.

Firstly, we went for KTV session from 11-2pm, we had lunch in KBox@Cineleisure. Very fun and enjoying. It was the first time we three meet for KTV session. Today was really special for us. Before the KBox opened, we already reached there. Since we had to wait for the KBox to be opened, we decided to pass her the presents we bought for her. She was very happy seeing those presents. I was happy too.

Though I was the one who kept singing(sorry ar), but really hope next round can sing duet with them turn by turn... Haha... We promise, we will meet for KTV next time.

After KTV session, we decided to went for bowling session. While walking, we were talking something real imaginary. We all had the same wishes. We wish to meet up in future with all our beau and ask them to carry our bags(Just like Maria)... Haha... Not only this, we also said we will get married at the same day, at the same hotel, and going to the same country for honeymood.... Then we will give birth at the same time and if we give birth to a girl and boy each, we will let them dating when grown up, three will become each other's in-laws.... Haha... What a funny dreams we had.... Hehe...

Then when we cant find the bowling alley, we decided to play some arcade games. It was fun and we really enjoyed.... Then we went to Marina Square for bowling session. It was my first time playing bowling but i managed to strike twice in the ten games... Very tiring but fun also. Though in the end, my fingers were in pain, but very fun.

Then we went to Changing Appetite for dinner. Treat from belated birthday woman... The dinner was not cheap, but worth the price... We had very heavy dinner. Then after dinner, she opened the presents. Her smiles says it all... I can tell than she really loved the presents we gave her.

After that, we discussed when will we go on vacation together. We decided to go to Thailand for a start. Plan was next year January. But all will need a careful plan. Hope everything went smooth.
