Today was a post celebration for my best friend Yuhui. Her birthday was actually on 25th September but we do not have time to meet up that day. So we set a later date today to celebrate with her for her super belated birthday.

Firstly, we went for KTV session from 11-2pm, we had lunch in KBox@Cineleisure. Very fun and enjoying. It was the first time we three meet for KTV session. Today was really special for us. Before the KBox opened, we already reached there. Since we had to wait for the KBox to be opened, we decided to pass her the presents we bought for her. She was very happy seeing those presents. I was happy too.

Though I was the one who kept singing(sorry ar), but really hope next round can sing duet with them turn by turn... Haha... We promise, we will meet for KTV next time.

After KTV session, we decided to went for bowling session. While walking, we were talking something real imaginary. We all had the same wishes. We wish to meet up in future with all our beau and ask them to carry our bags(Just like Maria)... Haha... Not only this, we also said we will get married at the same day, at the same hotel, and going to the same country for honeymood.... Then we will give birth at the same time and if we give birth to a girl and boy each, we will let them dating when grown up, three will become each other's in-laws.... Haha... What a funny dreams we had.... Hehe...

Then when we cant find the bowling alley, we decided to play some arcade games. It was fun and we really enjoyed.... Then we went to Marina Square for bowling session. It was my first time playing bowling but i managed to strike twice in the ten games... Very tiring but fun also. Though in the end, my fingers were in pain, but very fun.

Then we went to Changing Appetite for dinner. Treat from belated birthday woman... The dinner was not cheap, but worth the price... We had very heavy dinner. Then after dinner, she opened the presents. Her smiles says it all... I can tell than she really loved the presents we gave her.

After that, we discussed when will we go on vacation together. We decided to go to Thailand for a start. Plan was next year January. But all will need a careful plan. Hope everything went smooth. Will let you all know if any latest news or confirmation. Do check in here and look out for new updates. :P

GEMs Course Day 2(Last Day-28/08/07)
Today was the last day of the GEMs lesson. Everyone was rushing to end the class early. What we did today was very simple.

We had some revision on what we had learnt yesterday. Then the lesson started with Irene discussing some key points and notes for us to copy.

Than it was a mini breaktime. After the break, we discussed how did we provide GEMs service in our worklife. Each group were told to give three scenerios and we must explain what each scenerio was. After that, we resumed the lesson again...

Than came lunch time. As it was heavy rain, initially, we do not wish to go out for lunch as it was super heavy rain. In the end, I managed to borrow an umbrella from one of the colleagues. Then we went out for lunch while some stayed back and ordered McDonald.

After lunch, we were told that we need to role play before we can end the lesson. So we were splited to a group of three and only my group was four as there are nineteen of us in there...
We had to role play being Customer, CSR and also Observant. But our group only did one part each as we lack of time. Before she ended the lesson, she asked us to form a circle and shared our views of what we had learnt today or for the whole course. The lesson finally ended at 5:15pm.... Earlier than yesterday.. Haha..

Anyway, I had lots of fun. I love attending fun courses. :P

English Skills Lesson 1-27 August 2007
Today was my first lesson in PSB Academy. In case you do not know what's going on. Well, I had taken up my part time Diploma In Management Accounting and Finance(DMA3/07). It will end probably in March 2009....

I reached the campus at 6pm and realised I was very early. So I decided to sit at the canteen and write some notes which I left out that day on the orientation.(23-08-07 was the orientation date).

When I looked at my watch minutes later, it was already 6:45pm. So I went to the big screen which indicates which room my lesson will be conducted. Once I saw it, it indicated that the room is A3-01. Which means, it is located at BLK A, Level 3 and Room 1. Very confidently, I went up to 3rd floor. I waited for any familiar faces but to my dismay, there wasn't. I waited and waited, the lecturer was still not here. I suddenly doubt the accuracy of the screen. So I went down once again and look at the screen. Oh dear, it was at BLK A but I was at BLK B... Haha... Wat a stupid joke....

Hence I look at the map located outside and managed to locate the location of BLK A. As I walked towards the BLK A, I saw someone very familiar... Look closely... Oh, he is Wilson who repairs for my pc at Income. So conincidence to see him. He was also shocked to see me. I told him that I came here for the Diploma course in Management Accounting and Finance and then bid good bye to him as I was running late....

After that I sms to him and said so suprise to see him here.. Haha...

When reached the room, I was perspiring and tired. A bit breatheless... Haha...

Luckily the lesson had not started yet. Miss Jacqualine Kuah introduce herself and given us her contact email so that we can email her if we have any problems.

Then she touched on the 30% for project work and 70% for exams. She told us that the project will be report writing of using 700 words... Oh my god!!! 700 words are alot.. haha.. Luckily it is group work... haha...

Than she touch on the grading of exams and the different group to be tested. There will be MCQ for Grammer and Vocabs, Summary writing and also Essay Writing. Oh boy... That is gonna be super tough. But she assured us, she will guide us along. So nice of her...

Before she begins the lesson, she did a short ice-breaking session. We had a mini self intro and get to know them better. Most of them are working in Accounting lines. Some, same as me, are not working in the Accounting Dept. Haha...

Then she begins the lesson with a small test to evaluate our English standards. Tested and proven, my English didnt improved at all... Haha..

Anyway, it is just a head start. The rest will be tougher and tougher as time goes by. I will update with all the things happened and what jokes did I made... Haha... Wish me good luck and hope I can score A's for all the modules. Haha... Jiayou... Elaine... Haha.. :P

GEMs Course Day 1-27 August 2007
Today was Day 1 for GEMs course. Actually I need not attend but thinking that there will be fun, so I agreed to attend... Haha.. Not to say I am very excellent in Go Extra Miles for customers be it internal or external. But cos I suppose GEMs is not much related to me.. haha.. No la... Just joking.

Day begins when I left my house late. Was supposed to meet Xiao Mei Mei at Serangoon at 8:25am. But decided to meet her at Boon Keng instead. So I sms her and changed the meeting place. When I reached Boon Keng, it was already 8:55am le.. Oh dear gonna be late for lesson if we cant find the place fast. Haiz...

When I refer to the map given but it was actually the wrong map and the buildings located in the map was all wrong. There was no No.65 building but a No.69 building. When we saw the Kallang Community Centre, we did not see the Luzena Building. Luckily, Xiao Mei Mei guessed the place correctly. When we walked further, she decided to continue walking till we cross over to the opposite brown building. When I was near the zebra crossing, I saw LUZENA on the outside of the compound. I praised her for her right decision. Thanks to her, we found the venue shortly.

When we reached the room, it was already 9:12am. We are late. Luckily, the lecturer, Irene, was friendly and she assured us that it is ok to be late as she herself almost lost her way when she came and familiarized the place last week.

She mentioned that just now she came in at 7am plus to find that this place in quite desserted. As this building was not fully renovated, hence many office spaces were vacant. The room which we were in was #03-204. Haha..

Basically, the class consisted of most staffs who just joined not long ago. They are very friendly and fun-loving. We played some games and had some experience sharings.

We also learnt many factors that leads to unhappy customers. There are many ways we can help customers and there are ways which could pulled the organization down.

Well, the lesson was filled with fun and many experience shared. Hope that last day will be fun too. The class was dismissed at 5:22pm. From there I rushed down to my part time diploma course though I knew I wasn't late.. Haha... Shall update tomorrow on the last day for the GEMs course. :P

Best Friends Talk Things Out Day(240807)
Today actually is a normal meeting of two best friends but was not actually a normal meeting afterall.

As i and another friend B, had some queries which we wanted to sort it out with C. Initially before the talk things out, we both were signalling and thinking how should we get things started. I suggested we go for dinner first but C was not hungry. Hence we decided to shop for a while and then headed for dinner.

While going, B and I were thinking, if C started the conversation, we will settled it at there(S11). But nothing was started and we proceeded after dinner.

Then we went to shop for shoes and then walk to buy bubble tea. Suddenly, C suggested we go for a chit chat at somewhere nearby. Wow, wondering was it she had sensed something or it was her thoughts when she met us.

So I suggested to go to the nearby block void deck to sit down and talk things out. We had a two hours or so problems solving. In the end, all that B and I thought was a problems, was later found to be a train of misunderstanding. All had a part to play for the misunderstanding.

Initially's unhappy was all gone. It is really great that we made it to sit down and talk things out. It made us realised how a misunderstanding occurs with just a small sms or a small gestures. To those who knew what was going on. Thanks for the golden advises and help. Without them, we wouldn't solved the misunderstanding. Thanks.
Firstly, I would like to apologise to Weiping and Yuhui for that day's plan of making you both waited for me. I will never do it again. I promise if I dot wish to meet, I will voice out and will never allow any misunderstanding to be occured ever again.

Secondly, I am glad to have such an understanding best friends since Secondary School to forgive my weaknesses and giving me chances for change. I am extremely happy that our friendship had passed tests and it was now risen to a higher level. Thanks, Weiping and Yuhui.
I hereby hope that we will never had any misunderstanding, hope that we will be forever best friends. I will try my very best to meet you both every week. But please pardon me if I am unable to make it due to my studies and work. Thanks in advance for the understanding. Friends forever.

PSB Academy Orientation-230807
As most of you had knew, from 27 August onwards, I will start my part time Diploma In Management Accounting and Finance. It is a day I waited and a goal I set long ago and finally, I made it a head start.

Today is an one hour orientation and it is a time we get to know the course more.

After work, I took train with Jevon and Serene as they are taking the same train as me. Think from next week onwards, every Monday and Wednesday, I will take train with them le... Haha.. New group to go with... :P

Then in the train, we chat about the flowers for Eshal yesterday. We all felt that it was not worth money. Could not think how would the flower cost so expensive. Haha...

Chit chat till I almost missed my Tiong Bahru... Oh yes, my campus is located at Tiong Bahru. It is just behind the Tiong Bahru Plaza. Had to walk 5minutes to reach the school. It was newly built. Previously was at Toa Payoh.

When I reached there, I was super early. The orientation started at 7pm but I was there at 6:10pm. Haha... So I decided to explore the canteen and that was where i spotted the mini Popular Bookstore... Went in and browsed through. Saw some of the books. Wow.... It was $50++.... Then I bought a note pad and a pen and a post it pad with PSB logo. Little did I know later I will have a pen and a post it pad haha...

Since I was early so I decided to do something silly. Guess what, I copied the menu from the canteen, word by word.... Haha... Cos really nothing to do ma. Finally finished copying, look at the watch... Oh it is almost time le, so I left and went to the classromm. B-204...

When I reached the classroom, signed the attendance, I was given a stack of notes on the introduction slides which will be shown later and students handnotes and also a book list with an overall time-table. I was told that the real time-table will be given on Monday on our first lesson. Wondering what will be on our first lesson.

The orientation started 5 minutes after 7pm with the intro of who is our Programme Executive(PE) and one of the lecturer started with the facilities around the campus. The operation time of the library and also the gym's operation time.. Haha..

Then they touched on the ground rules and regulations. He told us that they took examinations seriously. He also told us to start working hard from the first lesson and also he taught us ways to tackle the exam questions.

Sounds very simple, but I am now here worried what will be like in the lessons. As I had left school three years ago, so everything to me is new. Hope that first year will be smooth sailing and hope that I can managed my roles well.

The Orientation ended 15 minutes after 8pm. But it was already raining outside. As I did not carry unbrella, hence waited for the rain to be lighter than walked towards MRT station.

When the train reached Red Red Tomato, it was raining heavily. So I decided to alight at Yio Chu Kang and then took bus 265 home. Finally home for my dinner... :P It was already 10plus... Oh boy... What a tired day....

Update As At 220807
Today is another treat which I was the organiser. It was planned long time ago. In fact it was months ago's plan. Idea came from Linda and Lili. As Eshal treated us but didn't want us to treat her back. Birthday treat is one of the ways we can retreat her.

Initially was only three of us plus her. But in the end, we had added three more members, they are Latchimi, Esther and Mr Quek... Haha.. Well, we went to the restuarant at CHIJMES, the SUN restuarant(this is what we remembers). It was Lili and myself's second time dropped by at there to lunch. It was not cheap but we love the ambience and the food was nice. So it is consider value for money ba...

As usual, I ordered the salmon rice. Haha... Mine came last but I managed to finished it first... Then came the fruits(one small slice of watermelon and honeydew). Then lastly it was coffee. Actually, I cant drink coffee. But their coffee was not bad. Hehe... Think will go there again soon...

After that we left the restaurant and headed back to office. Was thinking what had Silveschoo got for Eshal as we all chipped in $4 for the gift. Expected it to be some thing nice. But when the flowers was delivered. All face changed. Was told that it cost $88.10 and was ordered from Noel. Oh my god... So expensive but the flower was not very nice wor... Vase looks like plastic and flowers are small. Had a tipped off that the actual cost was $65. There are total 23 person sharing each contributes $4, there will be $92... But where are the balance??? To be department funds ar??? Wasted our hardearned money and wasted my intention of getting whole department to chip in for a gift. At first I suggested to buy a cake, but later was changed to flowers which we also dot know why.

Luckily, we had given her treats and luckily, I bought her presents and handed before she reached office. If not later she mistaken that flower was my idea.. She was very nice, she sent thank you cards to us and say she was so touched by our gestured. Haiz.. If I were her, I dot think I would say I am touch wor... At most only say thank you.. Haha...

Right now, I am worried whether the novel I bought was ok a not as till now she had not commented anything. Or maybe I really did something wrong ba. Hehe... Anyway, Eshal, wish you HaPpY bIrThDaY... May all your wishes comes true. :P

TGPS 2nd Gathering-180807
Today was the day I waited very long... It is the once a year TGPS gathering. Remember the previous times was at East Coast Park. Very fun and was looking forward for the next one.
Last time did not stay back as I had work the next day. This time, no matter what have to stay back and chit chat with them.... It was held at a chalet at Downtown East, Block B, Room no forgotten le... When I reached there, a lot of them were already there... I saw my long time no see friends... Very happy to see them once again...

Though we are all doing different things after our Primary School, we are still so close. It is really rare and will cherish every moments.

To ask all to come on the same day was already not easy. Though it wasn't the whole class. At least there are more than half, I am also happy with that. That is why i insisted in attending even though I had just recovered from flu. It is an event that I shouldnt missed.

All wasnt having much changed except that we are more close and more humor... Throughout the whole gathering, we kept laughing and teasing one and another... Very fun...

The food prepared was nice and the person who barbequed the food, I must say, they are all professional... Thanks to Victor, Yili, Soon Ching and Yong Sean and many others. Without you guys, food wont be that perfectly done.

So much of catch up was done. We had lots of fun and we also had lots of photos taken.. Well, really really pleased that most of them took the effort in coming down. I met Melissa and Norlizah.. They had changed a lot, especially Melissa... hehe... She is mother of two boys le.. So fast hor... Norlizah is still cute cute and getting prettier... Hehe...

Well, as time reaches 11pm, most of them had left. Except some of the guys and some Huijing and myself... Haha... We had many mini chit chatting... We stayed awake till around 4am plus then one of the guys decided to call it a day. One of them said, why not we all had breakfast and left together since most of us lived in Red Red Tomato... haha...

So we packed up and headed to McDonalds where we had our breakfast and some chit chatting sessions. We left DownTownEast at around 5plus. As the bus was not here yet, so I suggested to walk to the interchange. That was a smart move as we get to have more chit chatting... We walked along the park and had our 'romantic' walk... Haha...

Then we boarded bus 88 and headed home. In the bus, all went for their nap except me and Yong Sean. So we begin another chit chatting till I reached my stop then I bid good bye to them...

Well, just would like to thank Victor for his hard work of getting us to gather in the chalet. Of cos not forgetting Jasmine who helped us in renting the chalet. Thanks for all the fun and laughter. I will date you guys one by one or group by group soon. Keep yourself free... Hehe..

Updates On 170807
Today we meeting Eshal to treat her dinner after work. Her birthday is 23 August 2007. And she will be on leave then, so we decided to treat her early so as not to clashed into her schedule in case someone else booked her liao.. hehe

Initially, the plan was to set off with her at 5:45pm de. But she was held up by meetings. So I was told to wait for her and then meet the rest.(Hui2, Kelly and Serene). I name this secret dinner as SHEK Lunch With Eshal.. Haha... Sounds like shrek but missing of R.. Haha

Well, we waited till 6plus then Eshal finished her work and able to leave with me. As I was having slight flu. So did not wish to talk much. But cant have no conversation with her while walking.. So chit chat a while.

When we waited for the bus to go Clarke Quay, she was asking me whether tomorrow will I stay at home or what as I was a bit sick. But I told her tomorrow I have class gathering to attend. She just shake head and say I very stubborn. Sick le still insist to go for garthering...

Then when we reached the destination, I told her my main reason for the mini mood swing. Then she say if it is not my fault, I no need to feel sad or what. Just be normal.

It was then, we saw Serene and she lead us to the restuarant. The ambience was nice and there are a lot of people queuing up. Luckily they decided to go there first. If not we have to wait for a while then can go in ar... haha

After placing the order, we had some chit chat session... Well, it was the first time we managed to date Eshal and also first time SK-II went out together... Haha..

The food was not bad. Before we left, Hui2 went to foot the bill then we will split the bill on Monday. Haha... We left the restuarant and went for window shopping. Saw many cute things but did not buy any. Then we spotted one cute japanese restuarant and we had already planned that next meeting we will go there and makan...

After window shopping, we decided to drop by at Ice Cream store outside Central. But upon seeing the ice cream was so expensive. One scoop cost $3.80... Oh my god.. haha.. Decided not buying. Besides, I'm really having flu... haha..

Than we walked along the river of Clark Quay and then headed home. But before we headed to MRT station or bus stop, we spotted a cute cake shop selling mini expensive cakes. But the feedback of taste was not nice although the design was nice and cute. Haiz...

Then we parted where Kelly took bus, Serene took the other side of the train and left Eshal, Hui2 and me...

Hui2 alighted at Dhoby Ghaut while I proceeded the journey with Eshal till Hougang then we parted. During the time when train reaching Hougang, we had a mini chit chat. She was concerned on whether I can cope well with three roles and asked me to give up data entry which I just picked up not long ago.

I told her I want to give it a try. I assured her that if I find that I really cant cope, I will let her know in advance. I shall proved that I can multi-tasking. Wish me good luck. :P

National Day 090807
Today is Singapore's 42nd Birthday. I was going to use special ways to celebrate Singapore's birthday.

I was part of the forming Singapore flag using Umbrellas @ Padang.... Sounds interesting???? But I can tell you it is a mixtures of happy and angry.

At 3pm, we all gathered at the meeting place. We were told to lined up in two rows so as to move in an orderly manner. Then we were told to queue with the rest. No one asked any questions and we just follow the leader blindly.

After around almost an hour with enduring all the pushing and squeezings and the cut queuings. One of them voice out the query, why were we queuing whereby we had already registered???
It was then, the Secretary realised that she should do something. As our group not consisted of adults. There were small kids tagging along. Some of them almost gave up. Luckily in the end, we were told to squeeze through and enter at the side.

When we were allowed to enter, all ran and grabbed the goodie bag and went to the destinated squares to prepare for the event.

I only came to know that it was not shown on tv for our event throughout the whole NDP 2007. The event started at about 6plus, where we waited for the helicopter carrying Singapore Flag across the sky, we done the wave formation for a while then, the whole event ended. I saw many were standing outside the fences looking at the big screen showing NDP2007.

But I did not stayed as I find it very bored. So I packed and left. When I reached home, NDP ended. I was dead tired and hungry. Almost no dinner for me as I had miscommunication with my dad.. Haiz.. Luckily my beloved mom shared some chicken parts with me. I ate two cups noodles and some chicken meats. Was super full... Haha.. Than I went to bed shortly after finishing all the household chores as tomorrow is a working day. :P

Thinking back, if next year when asked whether want to join, I suppose I will rethink ba. I am more interested in performing at the NDP2007. Maybe will seek help from friends or organizations to see if there is any opportunities for me... :)
