Wrapped Up April 2012 (1)

010412 (Sunday)
April Fool's Day! But today was not a fool's day as we are set to temple to pay respects to my wai gong and wai po.

After that we will slack at my uncle house for lunch and dinner. It is just a normal Sunday though it is mini family gathering where all the uncles will gather together and chit chats.

I cherish very much this moment as we only had this gathering twice a year. Once will be Chinese New Year and another will be like today, paying respect to Wai Gong and Wai Po.

030412 (Tuesday)
Today is a day where CBS will fly to Taipei for their new EP launch and do events there to tell whole Taipei that their EP was done! Actually I also do not really know what else they will be doing there. All I know was they will be there for 2 month plus!

It was really long since I last seen them. Glad that they have not forgotten me though I am not considered as their bao. :X

All the best in the singing career and I wish that they will be really famous in Taipei. I know I am not diehard fan of yours but certainly will feel happy for you both, Carrie and Diya, for making a success trip!

070412 (Saturday)
Today is first day dry run for ISIP (International Student Immersion Program).

I was slightly late for the event but not the last person to be late.

Today was to test out the games and improve on it. Quite tiring especially when I do not have the habit of taking early breakfast.

Luckily it all ended at 1 plus and I took late lunch before rushing home for rest. I am the team leader but wasn't really sure what I should do that day. Hopefully I am able to perform well.

090412 (Monday)
Today is Day 2 dry run where almost all of the person who signed up will gather and prepared for tomorrow's ISIP.

Out of sudden, I am the game master. Given the choice, of course I will choose the easiest game to take charge.

I chose Scissors Paper Stone where they will mingle around and find partner to play, loser will follow winner till the end form one human chain. I will pick 10 students to ask for the name opposite or behind them. 3 points will be awarded for 7-10 correct answers.

We also played for a while after the short break and somehow know how does it works.

Tomorrow will be the day. I have to hang on and perform well.

100412 (Tuesday)
We were to assist in urshering. Some of them reached earlier than expected. After urshering, we have a short briefing and then start to set up our game booth.

The briefing for the students delayed hence their game time was shortened. Nevertheless, we managed to end it on the dot and the whole event went quite smooth.

It was new experience gained and I met many new friends. Great working with them and hope there will be chances like this for me to take part soon. :D

120412 (Thursday)
Today is a day where we collect our kitchen items and paid the remaining if we have not made full payment that day.

The safety shoes were very heavy and so was the knife set!

Spent sometime in school library before heading home. School terms starting soon and I am eager to know my time table.

My results was not bad where I got 3 C+ and 2 B's. I was shocked when my Marketing was a B and also my RDM. I was quite sad when my FA was a C+ and my HTM was also C+. I am contented when my Business Statistics was C+. Not bad actually :D

160412 (Monday)
Finally able to view my time table! First day of lesson will be to chef module! OMG!!! I am very excited at the same time scare. Heard a lot of myths that the chefs are all very fierce. Plus the items are all so heavy!

Friday will be HIS where I need to be in school at 8am! OMG~~~ :X

While shopping at Causeway Point as my movie Dark Flight will only start at 5.25pm, I received a call from my Mentor that my two H modules will be changed and will be updated in Leo tonight.

I really wonder who else was also affected. Not able to really record what are the modules being changed, I did not take it to heart.

Dark Flight was not bad movie. Quite scary. What a way to end my holiday with catching horror movie. :D

170412 (Tuesday)
We were told to attend the briefing at LR W4-B with all the equipments brought at 8.45am! Such early when the time table was actually 9.15am.

Due to train's fault some was late and the briefing started at 9am instead. Chef Soon will be our facilitator. He look very friendly. He slowly introduces all the rest of the chef and he want us to remember each and every chef's name. I guess I needed time. But their uniforms all have their names so I will try to remember. If cannot remember than just say Good Morning Chef. :D

We were briefed that by Week 5 we must be ready to run the kitchen as the restaurant will be open to public from Week 6! OMG!!!

Stress to the max! I shall pray hard that I do not miss any lesson and stay healthy till Week 15. The UTs will be all very different. UT1 and UT2 will be practical where we will be tested to make soup base and also to make one main course. As for UT3, it will be paper UT with no notes to be brought and no laptops allowed.

Sounds so difficult! Hope I can pass this module and no need to repeat at all.

180412 (Wednesday)
2nd day of school already stress! Today is another Chef teaching us Culinary Science and Kitchen Operations, the facilitator is Chef Shunsuke! Coincidence that our facilitator were both soon. :D

He is also another friendly chap but we could not make out his accent at times as he is a pure Japanese facilitator. Nevertheless, he is very funny.

Today's presentation was a little different where we presented at our seat to Chef Shun. :P Hopefully I did not failed the presentation as I was very nervous.

While I was refreshing the Leo, to my shocked I only had two modules available! God's know who will be my clasmates for Friday's module where two of my H modules were replaced by one H module and one B module. Later I found out the the H module is Service Quality and Professional Etiquette. The names in the class schedule, only one name is familiar, the rest were all new to me. Hopefully they are easy going and hopefully this module will not be that stress.

190412 (Thursday)
3rd day of school and today is Microeconomics! Oh gosh!

Demand and supply are back to be my friend. I never hope to have econs as one of my module but sad to say, we have no choice.

Today than I realised, I am the lucky one to have both Microeconomics and Management Accounting in the same semester from this class! Consider lucky?

Heard from the faci, it will be tough fight for having MA and Microeconomics at the same semester! That makes me even more stress! I guess I will have to buy chicken essence real soon!

Oh yes! Forgotten to say, this faci of mine is Miss Delphine and she looks like one of the students more than facilitator. Well, hopefully she can ease my way through the UTs. :X

200412 (Friday)
TGIF but nothing to be happy about after knowing only 4 of us are from Year 2 while the rest are Year 3!

What a wonderful combi!

Next Monday, I am the only alien from DHHM where the rest of the class are DCSRM! Wonderful arrangement. Anyway, saw the facilitator name is Esmond, wonder how he looks like.

Heard myths that MA was tough! OMG! SQPE (Service Quality and Professional Etiquette) was equally tough too. :X

That ends my first week of school reopens! Stress to the max! How to pass this semester, I really do not know. I need HELP!!! :X
